1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Thank you St. James <3

    2. Mine's the teeeeeeniest bit yellower than the body, but is generally a good match... maybe it's my lighting :o I haven't taken it out of my room since I put the head and body together. Methinks I'll have to check it out again more carefully in sunlight.

Or, maybe it is just a little older :sweat

Mizuka, my Karon head... I'll have to put some gloss on him in a few days. Sorry for the bad photo that's being taken at night >.<

will have to hunt for a proper wig for him lol.

    4. All these head with such different an lovely face-ups makes me barely able to wait to get mine~ course I need things like eyes >_>;;

Great to see the range of everyone's dears.

    5. What a cutiepie!!! :D What size of eyes is he wearing??

    6. Okay, I just checked carefully, and while the white is a passable match, the texture and luminosity is the biggest difference. My karon seems more matte and opaque, whilst the domuya resin is shinier/finer(?) and more plasticky looking imo. Sorry if my descriptions aren't terribly good. The Luts white tones is a little creamier than the domu white though, as you said. The K-doll resin also feels really light.

    7. I got my head in too...forgot to mention!

He has no face-up quite yet, but hopefully he will soon xD

    8. Lotte Rotten - he's wearing a 14mm Artistique eyes. There's still some gaps ard though D8

    9. aramaki~~ thank you, i think i will go for 16mm eyes then :)

    10. So, what eyes (and size) most definitely do not fit Karon? Has anyone tried GumDrops, Enchanted Doll, or Mystics yet?

    11. The 16mm acrylics you get for like $10 most DEFINITELY do not fit at all. You can get them on Luts, it's the ones that are "life-like" and aren't solid colours (re: not the newer ones like the silver, lime green, pink, etc).

    12. Dollmore 16mm acrylics fit quite nicely - I have some DM 14mms too, but I've only tried one pair and I took them out pretty quickly so I only have one (fairly bad) pic.

I'll try the 14mms again and let you know, but I seem to recall there was a slight gap at the edges.

Seconding the question about EDs though! :3

    13. The ones I've got that fitted really well are the 16mm oval glass flat backed eyes. I tried about 4 different 14mm and they left a gap. I wasn't happy with the souldoll 16mm or the dollmore ones - they are too round I found (I was surprised the souldoll didn't fit).

I really like the oval glass eyes (made by Schoepfer?), but they only do about 5 colours: hazel, brown, green, grey and violet (I think). They're underrated being cheap, but they have a lot of depth.

You need really flat faced eyes with not much paperweight.

    14. Do you have a link to where I can take a look at those? :)?

    15. It seems that Soom eyes would be a safe choice, i've just heard that dust seems to get stuck to Soom eyes easily...hmmm.

    16. Does anyone have Leekeworld acrylic or glass eyes they could try? : D I'm going to assume the round glass eyes don't work...?

I'm going to try my luck on K-Doll, Ku Jeong Eun might know a few more brands that could work. n_n

    17. Yeah, that's what a lot of my kids are using, but it is true about the dust. I find I have to brush a little bit of stickytak over the surface of their eyes every once in a while.

    18. Here are the schoepfer ones, and here are the ones Cornelius has in (not the best picture on ebay, but they are very nice!). The only picture I have posted of him at the moment has him wearing the 14mm but they are too small.

    19. Oh... sadly I think they aren't in the right colours, but thanks anyway.

I'm having lots of problems finding eyes for another of my dolls, where the iris is small (say the kind you'd usually find in a 14mm pair), but the white is large enough to fill up the eye socket. Usually it seems if I go for a 16mm or 18mm pair of eyes, it fits but the white is hardly visible because the iris is so large, and it gives him such a doe-eyed dolly look :(

    20. Volks eyes or Ginarolo low dome eyes might work for you. The white part is larger than normal on those eyes.
