    1. Ginarolo... links pretty please :sweat ? I can't afford really expensive eyes though, much as I'd love to, a lot of my heads need bodies, and they take priority. I just need decent dark brown eyes...

    2. And I digress... I'm having trouble finding eyes with small pupils. One of my soon to be dolls is not quite right in the head and I needed a crazy look for him with large eyes. >_o;

      I've never tried her eyes so I don't know what they're like at all. for bigger whites, you might try Masterpiece eyes? they're pretty good at filling a socket.

      Carosel: what color of small pupiled eyes are you after? cause at one point I had a pair of Masterpiece Afghan eyes that I ended up selling *because* the pupil was small for my taste.


      about EDs: I think my mom has a pair of 16mm ones, so i can try them in Yaroslaf to see if they'll work. But I know that the 16mm zouks didn't work and they're a similar shape.

      I was curious about just what *was* the problem with the eyewell that made them hard to fit, so I used some eyeputty and made and impression of it. I found out that instead of being round, it's sort of angled a the top, where the lid is. Here's a crappy line drawing cross section of what I mean (I don't have a tablet, just a mouse :| ) :

      maybe we just need custom eyes that are angled at the top like that? because there isn't enough resin in the lid for me to feel comfortable going in with a beveler to make it all round in there.

      Still, the 16mm sooms I got work just fine from most angles. And I think this eye business is the only failing of the head, he's really beautiful!

    4. mine's on a type 2! it was a bit of and adventure getting the neck gadget off, but it looks fine, the color match and scale match is quite good.

      but now I'm seeing all these Karons on Domu flexi bods and it makes me jeaulous of the insane posability! lol

    5. Oh thats good to hear!! I know the neck piece on the Type 2 bodies can be a bit of a pain in the bumbum to get off, i have my Chiwoo girl on a Type 2 girl body - but i wasn't sure if i a type 2 boy body would fit Karon (neck thickness + colour wise) :)

    9. There are these round sandpaper balls called beveling tools that you can use to modify the interior size of the eye. You can buy them at different doll shops. Here\'s a pic of them at Volks: http://www.volksusa.com/matlab0001.html

      And wow, so many Karons with gold/yellow eyes xD; I'm amazed at the depth and variety of character on them all already though. :)

      1. Once a head is released for a certain month, how long do you have to order it?

      2. How do you go about ordering?

      3. How often are heads released?

      4. Are there a certain number of heads released at a given time?

      5. How do you find out how much the heads are?

    12. Blood has a very detailed set of instructions on how to order and when on the K-Doll site.
      In theory, heads are for sale every other month. Blood announces which of the heads that are still currently in production will be for sale in the month prior to the sale. If the release is a typical one and not just one to get rid of available stock, the heads aren't made until you order them. Thus the ordering period for the first week of the month, payment during the second week, production at the casting company at the end of the month, then shipment.

      Kamyu second sale (last domestic sale) is planned in August. Korean-Japanese only (???) full plan will be announced Mid or end of July.

      My korean is shoddy so someone please translate MY translation ;~;
