Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. Does Kanadoll have authorized dealers? I'm seeing the heads all over the place now, but I want to be sure I get one produced by the artist. Are they only available directly from the artist? Thanks :)

    4. No Kana is the only one who sells them as like you said she's the artist. There are no dealers. Just second hand heads should be available out there. I still need an Adrian but I can't find one. Where are you seeing them?

    5. Okay thanks! I saw them on ebay, some around the price I was expecting and some much lower. I know jeeryama is a legit dealer on ebay for some companies so I thought I'd ask the question just in case.

    10. Ok here are the pics and I hope this help you...and yes, Luts is too light, I think the match with Migidoll is perfec and very good with Volks.
      The Luts body is a SDF 62cm; the Migidoll body is the new Guy II 65cm and the Volks body is SDgr 63cm, as the match with Volks is good I think that the Volks SD17 body of 65cm must be good too

      I guess I'll stand with the Migidoll body bc is what I can afford right now, and I like the poseability. I love the neck part, it's fitting is really precise.

      I never had a body of Migidoll and I was pleasantly surprised with the aesthetics, texture, quality and poses very well. I definitely I buy another Migidoll body for my Adrian :chibi

I'm the ,,writer type" of doll collcetor so I get really interested in people's backstories for their dolls, bc I love to read as well :3

    15. Since Kana's resin is matched to Volks, some of the more yellow-toned rather than pink-toned resins should be good matches. I actually have my white skin Adrian on an Iplehouse white skin girl body, though! The head is slightly more yellow-toned to the IH pink tone, but it's a pretty good match otherwise, and isn't really that noticeable. The only problem with IH is that their necks are huge! I haven't sanded mine down yet (because I'm lazy) and I'm not sure just how big the necks are on the boy bodies, so, uhh, sorry if this isn't the most helpful reply. :sweat

    16. Hello All: I have been a longtime fan of Artist Koitsukihime (one of her dolls is my avatar pic). I am always on the lookout for resin BJD's whose sculpts are similar. I have fallen in love with the Adrian sculpt, but how do I buy one?

      I have been to both kanabykana.com and the Naver blog, but when I click on the order-link, I don't see Adrian as an option. For some reason my Chrome app doesn't automatically translate when I'm at her sites – which kinda sucks, 'cuz the main reason I installed Chrome was to translate foreign web pages :doh

      I do "follow" her on Flickr, should I try making contact that way?

    17. GoodbyeKitty173 Kana sells her dolls (heads actually) during pre-order periods. They're usually announced in advance and last for several days. Other option is to buy a head here at market place. The pre-orders take place once in some month and each period is for one sculpt only, I guess the next order will be after New Year some time in winter and for Mars head.

    18. I recently purchased a Bambi Senior head from someone on DoA. I did her face-up (she still needs eyelashes) and made her a vintage style dress, tights and knit her a sweater. She's on a Bimong Dandelion body in normal skin. I had to add some hot glue to her head and the neck of the body so it wouldn't wobble. I hope to get her an SD body at some point.

      Paxita: So if Volks is a good resin match, I guess Fairyland won't be? I perfer the jointing on Fairyland bodies, but their "normal" resin tends toward the pink, while Volks is more yellow/apricot.

      Potentially Offensive Question: Does any other non-Asian [human] collector feel like they've made a racist faux-pas by referring to an ABJD's skin tone as "yellow"? As an Artist, I'd prefer to use terms like "warm" or "cool," but I can't assume everyone reading my posts will know what I mean…

      Then again: I hope I haven't ticked anyone off just by using "apricot"! :doh
