May I ask what body you're using for him? I was looking into a Switch HD65 as an option

I've secured myself an Adrian head after all. Will be a while until he gets his own body, but at least this way I can test in peace among those I already have among my collection :3

But I agree, I don't think the sculptor expected her boy to be so popular :3

This is exciting news. I've been wanting a Bambi ever since I first discovered her a month ago but I was too late for the pre-order. I'm so happy she's up for sale again so soon. I hope I can get her! Thank you for the heads up!

What eye-size have you used?

The blind eyes I do have are 12 mm I think, so if those don't fit I can at least put others in. Also until I can get im face-upped it should be enough time to get him bigger sized eyes in the case of the case

 

I've loved the Adrian sculpt from afar for a while but managed to lose the name and maker! Whoops! I really do love him, though, and really hope that if I ever have enough money laying around for him, one will be available.

(I see someone has one on the MP for a very good price, but I have other dolls I want first and my country's currency is worthless right now. So I shall leave myself to heavy sighs...)

 

Has anyone noticed that the new boy whom was previously Kanadoll No.5 is being called "Alucard"? I really
hope to see him completed soon too! Also congrats to all who ordered Bambi during the sale period! They sold
out quite quickly ^^

Surprisingly my Adrian head was awaiting me today when I got home from work. I just tried out the 12mm grey 'blind' eyes I had and they fit! I'm so glad! The shop I got them from doesn't currently have those in 14 mm, so... yeah. Lucky~~~

Also tested the headcap against some of my dolls normal skin and this is the result:
Granado ns - VERY good match(no difference to the normal eye) - my doll is brand new, so this is the current ns
Asleep Eidolon ns - good match, slight difference, AE lighter, easy to blush - both my dolls are about 2 years old, so they might be slightly yellowed (but I doubt it)
Switch NS - good match - nearly no difference noticable - again, the body is pretty new, so this should be the current shade
Dollzone ns-p - good match - slight difference (DZ is pinker) - this body was also about two years old when I got him and could be counted as 3 years now
April Story NS - good match - slight difference (4S is yellower) - not yet a year old
DreamingDoll ns - good match - slight difference (DDoll is slightly darker) - I have an older doll that didn't work (too dark/pink) and a newer one, from which this result is.
Doll Leaves ns - good match - nearly no difference noticable (DS is slightly pinker) - both bodies were about 2 years old

I had some others like Souldoll (too light), Leeke (yellowish - but might be due age), DIM (too obviously pink), Luts (too light, similar to Souldoll) and I think two or three more, but I did not list them here because they didn't match well or not at all.
Granado match surprised me, the others are good to know. I'll enjoy looking into hybrids for this boy, as I want an unmuscualr body or only slightly muscular one for this character

If there are people interested in resin match pics, I'll try to take some this weekend.
I'll also make a pic of him with the 12 mm eyes. Unfortunately he won't get a face-up before November as I'm handing him over to an artist for what I want. As his body will most likely also have to wait thought, this is ok for me.

 

I just learned about Kanadoll....wow! I see beautiful sculpts all the time, but these really stand out. Can't wait for #5. I just couldnt stop staring at the photos!

I just got my shipping notification for my Bambi Sr. head. I'm super excited!! Can't wait to finally have her home.

@Miyana Oska looks so calm and pretty.

 

I am always late to the party. I just found out about her sculpts and I would love to get a Bambi. Will keep an eye in this artist, she creates beautiful sculpts.

 

@sweetpoupee Bambi is a darling sculpt. I just got mine in the mail. I still need to give her a face-up though. Hopefully Kana will open another round of pre-orders for her. ^_^

 

@purplepaws Please post photos of your dolly. I hope so too, I've been stalking her sites like mad. I think she mentioned another preorder round for her. Saving my pennies and dimes in the meantime ^^

 

@sweetpoupee I'll make sure to take some photos when I finish her face-up though I'm still trying to find her a good body. xD Ah, I'm glad to hear she'll have another pre-order. She's a beautiful girl and I'm surprised she's not as popular. There's one on Y!JA right now and there doesn't seem to be a lot of bids.

 

@purplepaws if your Bambi is NS you can find a list of possible matches in my last post in this page. I'm getting my Adran head back this week as well, so if there is a combination you are Interessed in, i could take a pic this weekend.
