@Snowy I've seen your list. It was very helpful. Thank you for posting it. ^_^ I was planning on getting her an April Story junior body because she's supposed to be a petite girl but someone said SD heads don't look in proportion with the junior body... And the senior body is too mature for what I need. So now I'm trying to hunt down a Switch body. If not, I'll go with SQ-Labs DG-61. And yes, she's NS. I'd love to see photos also.

Does anyone know the neck measurement for the Bambi senior? I looked up the SDgr measurements and I found some say 8 and others 8.5.

@purplepaws: ... Uhh... the Junior Body is an SD body (albit a shorter one)? I guess 9-10 heads wouldn't work, but normal 8-9 heads shouldn't be a problem. In fact the heads offered with it are 8,5 heads if I remember correctly and they look normal. Is Bambi such a big head? Adrian certainly is a 8-9.

Switch definitly works. I got mine on a Switch body as well.


Balthasar's head returned today and my boy is now finished -^^- (Well, except for his own set of clothes. The one's he's wearing are temporary and would not be of his choosing).
He's turned out so awesome, I'm already regretting not having a better camera as some of the lovely details don't show on the pic. But he's still... -^3^-

@Snowy Bambi has a fairly big head. It's almost as big as my Reisner's. I guess that's why she looks out of proportion on a shorter SD body. I've seen a Volks Luna head on a SQ-Lab SG body, which is about as tall as the junior body, and it looks kind of comical. :C
I love Balthasar's face-up. Such a gorgeous guy!!

@sweetpoupee Bambi head fits the SDGr body perfectly if that helps, though you might want to use KIPS to avoid the wobbliness. Kana mentioned that she made the neck hole large on purpose so the head would fit male bodies too. If you would like to see a photo, let me know. ^_^

I think she looks good on the SDGr body. Too bad this one is already claimed by my Shinku. I'd say SQ-Lab's DG61 and Switch's HD57G bodies are the closest to SDGr. April Story Senior body is more like the SD16 body. There's also Sadol 63, which is a bit taller than SDGr but looks great with larger heads proportion wise. I think TURBOW had some comparison photos on her Flickr.

Thank you for the alternatives, I am not sure how easy it is to get a SDgr body on the marketplace.

I wonder what she would look like on a nYID female body.

I don't think Iplehouse's NS would match Kanadoll. I saw a comparison photo between Sadol and Iplehouse and Iplehouse looked much pinker.

Ah yes I've seen Mars too, who she seems to have changed his name from "Alucard"? I like Mars better for this doll! Though like paxita I want Adrian more first. I want too many dolls ^^; Mars has such a gentle smile that I will love seeing him styled in different ways! I can see him well on a 70cm body too!

 

Mars looks like a grown up Adrian to me! I really feel like getting him...but I wonder if he will look good as a girl? >.<

maybe this is a dumb question but i didn't see an answer anywhere: about how much are kana's heads? mars has taken my lil heart but his preorder period is approaching quickly and for only a short time, and i'd hate to miss out on that pretty boy!!

If you go to Kana's personal website where there's more details about Mars's sale, she wrote that it's $150 + EMS shipping fee + paypal commission (one head=$7).

I hope everyone who wants one manages to snag a Mars head. He's absolutely gorgeous! I'm hoping for a re-release later this year since my surprise Maeve took the money I'd have used to get Mars.

 

I am totally getting Mars, even though I'm supposed to be cutting down >.<
