Does Kana rerelease heads? I really, really need a Mars head but now is not a good time for yet another doll.

 

@Kim They do sometimes. They'll always announce a re-release on their blog or tumblr

 

Kana is doing another round of pre-orders for Bambi Sr. starting from February 18th!!

 

May I ask, Has anybody ever compare Kanadoll normal skin with Migidoll new normal skin yet?
I'm quite interests in Guy Body II 65 and since I thinks Migidoll compatible with Volks so it possibly fine with Kanadoll too
(but still worry that color may a lot darker than I thought).

 

I might be able to help as I've got a few Migidoll heads in new normal skin. When Mars gets delivered I'll try to take a picture of him with the MDs.

While we're on the topic of hybrids I was wondering if anyone knows if putting a Mars on a dollstown 18yr body would be a good idea. I wouldn't mind having to mod the neck, I'm really just worried about the proportions. (Or is putting him on any 70cm even a good idea)? Thanks.

As for color matching, Mars is extremely close to switch ns and definitely pinker than luts ns which is more on the yellow side. I don't have any migi dolls, wish I could help

@Freders, here's a link to a picture of Migidoll new normal skin headcaps (don't mind the makeshift hotglue wig caps ^^; ) from July and Sept 2015 with Kanadoll NS Feb 2016 in indoor lighting. The resin is pretty close, not a bad match at all.

For anyone wanting to see what Mars looks like on a 70cm body, here's a picture of him on the Spiritdoll Proud v2. Proportion is pretty good, resin match is horrendous (sorry for the bad lighting in the pictures).

Well, I got my Kanadoll Mars yesterday, in WS. He's a really pretty head.
I was wanting to get the Senior Bambi head, but another pre-order came up, and I went for that one instead. Oh well.
Here's hoping there will hopefully be another pre-order period in the future - especially for Adrian. I really want him.

 

I got her back in December, Kanadoll had a head when I asked her if she would be rereleasing her. Her name is Sophie. I love her to pieces. She's on a Supiadoll v.2 body. I am planning on getting her a Iplehouse nYID body in the future.

 

Hello! I just got my Adrian head second hand and I tried some cheap 16 mm glass eyes in his head, and found that the fit was absolutely horrendous. I've been looking around and it says 14mm-16mm for the eye size, but I was wondering if anyone could compare two sets for me of both 14 and 16 or tell me how the fit is for them. It'd be awesome if the eyes tested could be urethane. Thanks so very much!

 

Oh my, I had totally forgotten about Kana and saw a Mars head yesterday...needless to say I really need a Mars now
I already contacted Kana, but she said she didn't plant to make another pre-order this year.

However, can anyone show me a comparison between her NS and WS?
I am unsure which color to pick, because the character in question was always WS for me, but I am not a big fan of super pale paper-white WS.

 

I just stumbled across someone's Adrian on flickr and oh man I need a Adrian and Mars in my life.

this is the only comparison i can give right now since is dont have a proper camera. the WS one if from the Kanadoll Mars (2016) and the NS is from the 2nd release of Kanadoll Adrian (2015). Kana said that the WS is close to Volks NS (I dont have a body for my Mars right now.) ^^;;

Hello, good evening to everyone. First of all, thank you so much for this thread, it was very helpful and I've read all the posts. Nevertheless, I'd like to ask you guys a few things.
Someone posted a very helpfull ,,comparison chart"-like - I'm sorry, I cannot remember her name - with possible good resin matches for an Adrian head and she said the Luts NS is too light. I've recently purchased a 2nd hand Adrian head NS (which has not arrived yet) and I was considering to buy a Luts body before reading this thread. Now, someone (again, I'm sorry for having forgotten your name) mentioned the possibility of a migidoll body be a good match. Can someone please help me whether I purchase a luts or a migi?
Another question, what's the neck circunference of the Adrian head, most bodies I've searched on are 10,5cm.

The only Luts NS color suitable can be of the dolls made around 2011. New Luts color is far too light, it'd be better with white Kanadoll. It was a bad surprise for me either ((
I can't help you with Migi color, sorry.
In general Kana NS is similar to Volks NS, so resins that match Volks should match Kaba as well. I guess DollZone new NY might be an option. I'm pondering over this hybrid, since my Adrian is also bodyless.

As for the neck circumference it is ~10,5cm, so bodies with necks of about 10-11cm will do.
