That's a good question! To be honest, my Kids-Sky Amber has very limited posability. He stands like a champ, but arm and leg movement is rather restricted. I think the joints are just too large for their little bodies. But hey, it doesn't stop them from looking adorable! Here's Owl (KS Amber) with Jade (BF Robin):
Thanks for letting me know, @NekoNyanMew! I want my dolls to be able to stand really well but also do some basic arm posing (touching head, hands on hips, that sort of thing). Your dolls are adorable! Your BF has great eyes. That was the first company I fell in love with like ten years ago when I first learned about BJDs!
No problem, @truecolours412! Alex can definitely touch his head, but a hands on hips pose would be a lot more difficult for him. I'm glad you like Jade's eyes! He normally looks better with smaller irises, but the eyes he has in now are DollBakery Pancakes, which are one one of my favorite pairs. I thought Jade deserved 'em! BlueFairy Robin was the first male sculpt I fell in love with. Their dolls are very beautiful, but I fear that the "classic" BJDs like BlueFairy are going out of style.

My little Owl got a new faceup, outfit, and name! I took an adorable fall themed photo of him with a doll sized pumpkin and thought I'd share.
Not sure who needs to know, but I thought I'd put it out there for people who are into making hybrid dolls: a 27cm Gem of Doll head will fit on a Kids Sky 27cm body. I recently confirmed it IRL myself as I'm putting together such a hybrid for myself. Probably could have guessed they'd be compatible because they have such similar proportions, but confirmation can't hurt.
