i also wanted to ask what you think of the luts resin and body? does it pose well etc. thanks!!

 

Hopefully someone else will chime in here, because I am not an expert. First, I think the regular or girl body would work fine. I actually hoped for a girl body but I ended up getting a normal delf body because it worked out that way. My understanding is that the type 2 are the ones with the neck mechanism instead of the s-hook. This is what I ended up with, and the type 2 neck will not work with Kirya's head. I had to remove the mechanism and replace it with an S-hook. Since I am not an expert at restringing, I ended up causing quite a mess!! Now, before I screwed it up, the body seemed to be quite nice. Now the arms are loose and the legs are too tight, but overall it seems like a very nice body. I'll be able to better comment once a friend helps me with the restringing process.

 

The type 2 body is awesome! Astrid is on one. We were able to pop the cap off and pull up the S hook that was underneath it. It took a while, but we eventually got it. The stringing did not go loose. But you have to put a pen cap in the strings before you even pop off the neck cap, or you'll lose the strings in the body. The neck is absolutly NOT too big. Glenna herself finds it to be a better fit than the original Delf body. She helped me put Astrids head on her body and attach the S hook to the head cap.

 

ok how did you pop the cap off? the type 2 is the mature body right not the girl one? is the mature one really chesty? i have more of an innocent vibe for my kirya...well maybe.

 

Watch out, because I am surprised how Sexy Kirya gets, when I'm not even trying to go there! LOL

I didn't mean to imply that the neck itself was too big, just that the neck mechanism on the type 2 wouldn't fit in. I had hemostats on the strings but when I tried to adjust the tension I lost the strings. It's nothing a restringing won't fix. But Kathrynmary, you can request a type 1 body from luts even if you order a new one. That's what I recently did. This type 2 one just came before that one got there. You can probably ensure that there is an s-hook on a girl body too if you prefer the immature one. Here is Kirya on the luts type 2 mature body, you can see the chest for yourself.

 

We had to break it off in two pieces. The middle piece first (broke it in half), then the outside bit. As I recall it pretty much slipped off by itself. Um, do they not refer to the type 2 body as being a girl? I'm a little confused by all that. So, yeah, type 2 is a girl, and she is MATURE, if you will. Shes not as chesty as the type one body that my AES has. Her boobs look more like implants, while the type 2 body has more naturally shaped breasts. Yes, it is a bit chesty and hippy, but I feel that a smaller figure might look out of proportion with her head. I think it all depends on how you dress her.

I'm also waiting for my kirya since july and still she hasn't come... i thought that glenna was very busy so didn't mind, but reading this thread i'm getting worried, is it something bad happening??

I'm actually embarassed at how long I had this girl before I faced her. In my defence, I knew no "tame" face-up would do for her and I don't often feel daring. At long last, Kahnuma makes an appearance...
