1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Aug 8, 2008

    1. ... want... badly... that first boy is love at first sight, I must have him!

    2. Hmm... So anyone else get any of these guys to share? I would love to see more.

    3. Hopeful bump for some owner pics!!

    4. Does anyone own any of these lovely boys yet? I'm curious to see owner pics, and it's been ages since i've heard anything more on these beauties...

    5. If the company is going to sell their dolls to North America or even worldwidely, would anyone be interested?

here's some photos of their dolls:

just curious how many of you would want to buy them~

    6. Well, TATA's Paradise is already selling them internationally if I remember correctly...

There are a few owners already, but not that many. Some people have them on their planning list though^^

    7. Wow, they look great. Those thighs and knees are really elegant, and the hands are quite nice too. I also like the softer abs and nipples (thank god, the bjd world has too many bizarre 8-packs), though I think the upper torso and definition of the ribcage is a little severe. I wish the back were not so arched as well, but a lot of bjd bodies are like that. And I like that they are all so grouchy looking. Grumpy dolls ftw! :)

Their official site is not working for me though, I'm getting a log-in form...? Does anyone have an alternate link?

    8. Is the company starting to sell them separately from TATA? Or something else...?

    9. Because I am planning to become the company's agent in mainly American countries

      > Smaug: yes, I saw the post before posting this one, nut as you said, I haven't seen a lot of owners. So just wondering if it's the price or something else that holds back the potential buyers~

      > Miss_Pygmalion: TATA may continue to sell them, I've no idea. I'm seeing if the market is looking for another seller

    10. I would like a US-based seller, actually, especially if the shipping was lower! I honestly really like them, but they ARE a little expensive... So with shipping added on well. They're really lovely, but...! That being said I'd be more likely to save my pennies for one if they were shipping from the US.

    11. I agree with Idoru :3
I would love to buy them if there was a US-based seller, making the shipping lower :'D

    12. This is the first time I've heard of them (I'm still a noob), but I love the images you provided. If there was a US rep, I would definitely consider buying one.

    13. I would love to buy at least one of the heads. I'm not overy attached to the body, but I would love to hybridize one of these boys! I have some serious love for the two darkhaired ones and the elf. :D

    14. ya...shipping is really expensive from Canada...T^T
it really adds "something" to the cost
and also does the custom fees > w <

      > Miss_Pygmalion: I don't know how their skin colors match, but they seem not to sell heads separately. Only thing can be done is spliting with another.

    15. Are you talking about TATA Paradise, she is not the official site, but she is an authorized dealer.

If you want to see pictures, you can try here
      http://album.blog.yam.com/show.php?a=vv7403&f=4910878&i=3852570&p=0

It is in Chinese, by clicking on the big picture it will automatic go to the next picture

This gentleman is also an authorized dealer. If you want to work with him, I can help you contact him.

    16. It looks like jeeryama on eBay is selling Kui dolls now, too! :D
      *points*

I still plan to buy at least one of these guys...though actually, yeah, the price does knock them down a couple rungs on the want list. ^^; There are a few other dolls that I want just as bad that cost less, so they come first.

    17. apart form jeeryama on ebay, kuidolls.com and TATA, does anyone know of any other sellers of Feitian Si-Kui? also, does anyone know if anyone's selling just the head on this doll?

    18. I agree with Acanthiel on the question of price. For myself, I was kind of surprised that a brand-new company in China would charge such high prices for their dolls right out the gate. I admit, the prices are not ridiculously high, but so many older and more established companies, like Luts, Elfdoll, Dream of Doll (DOD), and Iple House, are charging less for their SD sized dolls. In this economy, price is a factor, especially with a company that no one is really familiar with. To establish themselves, and to entice more people to buy their dolls, they should have had lower prices.

    19. they are the only ones right now
(I'm still communicating with the company:sweat)

not that I've known. I can only tell you that the company itself does not split the doll, so you may want to try 2nd hand

I think it's the material they use are more expensive, not sure
Also, the doll is shipped out from Taiwan, so the cost would be more than from China

comparing to Korean doll companies, they are a little higher
it may because of the inflation on USD, no one knows
