@Cloudedmind: Nicasia, what a unique name! Did you choose it for her based on a background/nationality you have planned for her, or more for the sound/meaning?

@Splynterhayde: I think the great thing about the way you customized Lux's look is that it's extremely versatile, so he looks like the right age and build for his character whether you place him alongside stylized dolls or realistic ones. If you're putting Bedlam on the 70cm Doll Chateau body, he's ... really going to loom ominously over Lux, isn't he? XD; Yikes. Have you considered jointed hands for Bedlam as well? They might also be something that suits him, depending on what you have in mind for what he will wear.

As for Genevieve/Mercedes, the closest real life approximation I've found to her character vibe and potential faceup is Marion Cotillard as Lady Dior - classy, confident, and in control. I've been eyeing this and this Leeke wig in auburn for her hair and 12mm light greys for her eyes, but I'm not really sure about anything else yet, except for a vague impression of sensible black pumps and understated pencil skirts or slacks ...

 

It was actually a bit of both. I was looking for names with a Byzantine and Greek background, and then after that just chose one that sounded nice and seemed to fit my Edria's character.

 

Hey there!

Is there anyone who ever thought about using a Notdoll girls body for the Edria head in white skin? The color name of the Notdoll resin is "Crystal Rose White" - could be a match that works. Does anyone have a Notdoll body? Is it paper white, pinkish white or peachy white? I WANT A BODY FORMY EDRIA!!!!!!!!!!!

I read about the Spiritdoll body and the Supia body - I really like the Supia body (except that it has no body joint) and Spiritdoll is interesting, too. But I LOVE the look of the Notdoll body sculpt much more!

Please help me!

Today ... after hours of investigation ... I found two more interesting bodies for my Edria: does anyone already have an Adria 16 yrs Grace or an Infiniti Doll SID13 Body??? I love the Aria Doll but I have no idea if it would match the Edria ws resin!

Check thru this thread, there is a pic I posted of my blank Edria head on the Infiniti SID13 girl body, there is a small gap in the back when the head sits on it.

 

Here on page 7, to be exact. ^^ (I went back to look too, since I'm also considering the Infiniti SID13 body - it's very lovely and gracefully curvy.)

Cool ... immediately after I saw this pic I ordered the SID13 body from Infiniti Doll. But as I had to choose lay-away it will take about three month till I get the body!

 

Congrats on getting a body NeedleRosi! What color is your Edria & what color body did you get?
Boy, do I feel dumb. All this time I thought that was the IH S.I.D. body. This hobby can be so confsing sometimes. so many companies so many abbrevations! I love that body too but I think my Edria WS head is way too pink for their WS. I sure hope my Vampire Edria is lighter.

 

Hi Lace Princess, my Edria is ws - I just bought her from TQV not long ago. I ordered the body in ws also - my Edria is not pinkish (I would say) - she looks like a very very light ns! I really really hope the Infiniti body will match! I put her on my Souldoll Zenith girls body (as the Madalyn head is still away for her face-up) and the color is not that far off as I already read a few times on DoA. So, let´s cross fingers!

This is a bit risky, I know! But the sculpt of the SID13 is soooooo cute - I wanted to order it anyway! And with Edria I have a good reason! Hope it will work - the pic of derilan85 looks promisingly!

 

She fits on the body well, but you may want to try to get something like a neck donut for the S hook to rest on too. I never tried it for my SID13 body, because my Daffodil wanted her body back and did not want to share.

 

That's a terrific resin match! Would you be so kind as to post full length nudie shots? Would love to see the total body w/head. Thank you!

Oh my gosh derilan85 - I thought it was white skin!!!! Now I will have to cross my fingers that ws Infiniti resin will match my Edria ws resin! That´s too bad! I was so sure that this picture shows ws!

 

I was thinking the same thing! I guess the search for the perfect WS resin continues....

Yeah my Edria head is Volks Normal and the Infiniti doll SID13 body is Pure skin Normal as well. I don't want WS dolls anymore they tend to yellow fast.

 

This is the best WS match I've found on this forum. I'd like to have more possibilities though.

 

Awhile back ago, some of you were requesting for a picture of Edria on a 65 cm or taller body. I dont exactly have one but here a picture of mine on a Soom body.



Her resin match is nowhere close, but she could do with a slightly taller body.
I've also been setting my eyes on the gorgeous Dollstown 18yrs girl too, with some photoshopping and set up, this is what Edria might look like on the actual body.

I had all my girls lined up, and Edria propped up to the height of 68cm beside them with some quick and dirty photoshop image layered over it.

It looks like she'll be a bit of a pin head on this huge body. What do you think?

 

Hmm, I actually don't think the Edria head looks pin-headed on the Dollstown body, based on the Photoshopped rendition. Especially taking into account a wig, the overall effect might actually be pretty nicely and realistically balanced.
