Thats rather true, maybe I'm just being picky but it feels a little off somewhere, her neck seems a little thin but ah well, as long as Edria fits

I also think she looks pretty good in the mock-up. Her head looked fine on both the 13 and 15yrs girl body from Dollstown, and since most of the heads are suppose to be interchangeable from the three bodies I think Edria's head will look fine on the 18yrs neck.

I also like that the 18yrs body seems to have wider shoulders then the Soom body.

Nope, I ordered Vampire Edria 11-1. She should be ready after 35 working days according to LLT website.

 

I was looking back through the Roderich and Vincent thread and noticed that Tsukasa had put up a resin comparison picture between LLT white and Dollzone white, and they looked like a good match.

Edit: For anyone considering making Edria a boy, the SDGrB Volks body is a nice match. The neck is a little thick, and Edria's head a bit lighter, but nothing a little sand paper and blushing can't fix.

I was thinking on putting my Edrias on a Souldoll girl body or another 52-55cm body, because I
want her to be small and delicate; but now I've seen all your pictures, I'm a bit worried that the head will be too big for this body.
Gosh, I'm just so impatient to receive her

 

You might be able to get away with putting Edria on a 57cm body. This is my (last) Edria on my Supia (mod-to-boy) body, and Supia is one of the more delcately sculpted SD bodies you can get:

I think, especially with the shadow, the head is still nicely proportioned. And it'll look better with a wig!

edit: I'm also waiting for my (upgraded to vampire) Edria, still. I haven't even heard word from LLT since I sent my payment, which I have to admit is somewhat worrisome. However, to their credit, last time I didn't even check my mail for correspondence and I -still- received my Edria a few months later by surprise in the mail. I think it's because she's a limited head that I'm anxious something's gone wrong.

 

Splynterhayde Thanks for posting Edria on a smaller body it looks quite good! Edria's neck is 9.5 cm is the neck not too large for a smaller body ?

I'm on waiting day 25 so 10 or even more working days to go, and I did not order make up, you can add at least 2 weeks for a face up.

 

That Edria on Supia looks like a good resin match. But I still want a bigger woman, sort of like Spiritdoll or EID sized woman. I'm thinking of getting both open eyes and half closed eyes heads... She's so pretty and I always like having several versions of the same head X_X Too expensive though...

About the company communication, they always took a few days to answer my emails during my first order, but this time their confirmation only took a couple of hours. I hope you will have yours soon!

 

Before I forgot and the order period finished, I bought my half closed eyes Edria. I didn't know how to ask for white skin, so I left a comment in the paypal thing.

 

Hi, everyone. I'm totally new here and i just recently found this company. I'm so happy that there is a thread for this beautiful dolls. Today i ordered Edria with open eyes. I've place an order but did't pay for the shipment because there is non for Canada. I hope they will send me separate invoice for this. How long it will take for them to ship a head with the face up? I will appreciate any info on this? Many thanks.

 

I believe the estimation for a doll head without make-up was 35-45 days and with make-up an extra two weeks.

I've got email with my order conformation. I'll see my Edria, hopefully, in less than two months. I am so tempted to order more of her but have to sit on my hands.

 

Aww, "Little Edria" looks like a sweetie with the more heart-shaped face and wider eyes. Luckily for my finances, I'm not (yet) feeling the need for a younger incarnation or sibling for the character planned for my currently ordered Edria, but I'd certainly love to see more of her.

Congrats on ordering, Carmen and suok2011! Got any plans already for how you want your Edrias to look?

Meili-melee: I want my Edria to represent my only female vampire (yes, it does sound cliché). But she is more interesting than what it sounds, I swear! I haven't drawn/painted her that much but this is more or less what she should look like, except she'll wear modern clothes.

 

Carmen I really like the way you draw, especially the way you color.

 

My, she's beautiful and looks so poised and confident, and you are an exceptional artist. (I love the Coltrane portraits in your gallery too.) The Edria sculpt seems to be perfect for suiting her features. And haha, don't worry, I have nothing against vampire characters. XD They are, like any other character type, just as good - or just as bad/cliché, as some franchises demonstrate - as they are written by their creators.

 

I skimmed the 10 pages in a hurry, so this may have been settled. I've noticed a number of 9.5 necks on male dolls.
Lionel, Fantasy Doll, 69cm -- 9.5 neck ~Too tall?? [I did see Fdoll referred to already]
Doll Leaves has 9.5 neck for the males, and 2 new male sculpts, plus a new style for them, for their body.
Maybe this is only one cent, not my two cents? If the answer is already settled and I missed it.

Edria is going on my wish list.

 

*spazzes* I just received a shipping notice and tracking number for my Edria head! The end of the wait is in sight!

@DaughterofEden: Both of these sound doable in terms of size/proportion, but it's the resin match that might be a bit hit-or-miss. Also, if you want more options to choose from, the Edria head can look fine on bodies with larger neck circumferences too. There's even one on an Infinitidoll SID boy body here on DoA, though you'd have to check with the owner to find out if and to what extent it needed to be modded.
