La Légende de Temps - Edria

I received my Edria today, though he was technically at the post office yesterday. He's absolutely perfect, a vampire in white skin, and he's technically number 001 on his birth certificate. There's a nice little note on his card, too, saying 'thanks for the support!'.

Looks paler than my last whiteskin Edria? D

 

I received my Edrias dreaming and sleeping too, they're absolutely gorgeous! The NS is a bit darker and peacher than my other NS dolls (Iplehouse, Leeke and Soom). I'm going to try her on my friend's Dollstown Elf body next week, but I think she will be way to big for it (it's a WS body, so I won't be able to tell if the resins are compatible).

 

I'm wondering what the match is like for Edria NS and Supia NS if anyone has both? I am debating which body to put my Edria on when she arrives and I have a spare Supia one.

 

Does anyone have pictures of Edria on Dollstown 13G body? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Huh, that's interesting, Khyreena. I ordered my open-eyed Edria in NS too, but she appears paler and pinker than the Fairyland NS body I got for her, so I'm wondering now if I was sent a WS head instead, or if Fairyland resin is just that much darker than Iple/Leeke/Soom. The card that came with her didn't specify skin color, so I have no way to verify from that ... Does anyone else here have Fairyland NS and LLT NS (from this batch) who can compare the two, or know how Fairyland NS usually compares to Iplehouse or Leeke NS?

 

@meili-melee I have Vampire Edria in WS the white skin is white no pink tones I put her head on a WS Impl model body for now, the body is pinky white. See pic on the previous page.

 

Ah, thank you aeryn, I don't know why but I somehow missed seeing your picture post the first time I checked. I guess my Edria must be NS, then. I can probably get her blushed to match her body more closely when I commission her faceup.

Sorry I don't have a picture of the head actually on the body yet. ^^; My younger sister took this photo for me, as I'm currently away at med school and not at home, and I'm usually the one who wrestles the heads on and off our dolls, haha.

 

farin, saw your pics on the match with the DT oriental. I think she looks perfect on DT 13 oriental. I already placed an order for the body. The only problem with DT is the waiting for two or three months.

 

But it is worth waiting, the DT bodies are wonderful.

Another body suggestion:

I tried my Edria NS on my Ariadoll NS 14 Elegance girl body. First I had the large bust and that looked strange for me. But with the small bust it is very nice. And the resin match is perfekt, also the neck!
Somebody asked before about the Aria 16 Grace body, I don´t have one, but since the neck is the same it must fit, too.

Can take some pics tomorrow if wanted.

 

I looked up at Aria's dolls and i really like the body that Farin pointed to. Love the hands, very expressive. Do you know how long their waiting period is?

 

Since last year they promise that all items for sale are already in stock. No preorder.

Yey! My search for the perfect WS body for my Edria WS vampire head is over! I'm also thinking of getting this body for my WS original Edria head as well.

This is the Dikadoll 65cm body in "Normal White." The resin match is the closest I've found so far. And the head/neck is a perfect fit. I love this body. It poses like a dream and comes with all the seams sanded smooth as silk. Also, it's a slender body with long arms and fingers and I really like that. The arms have such a realistic proportion. I hate short arms. Just one of my weird things.

Ok, I'll let pictures do the talking.

Here she is sitting on her legs. She does this very easily and there are no indents in the back of her thighs like Dollstown, for instance. I didn't need to glue suede her or anything. Her double jointed knees aren't the most beautiful when bent but they pose so nicely it doesn't really bug me. Besides, clothes/stockings will easily cover that. She can also sit easily with her bottom legs sort of on either side of the thigh as opposed to right under the thigh. Hope that makes sense.



Here's a shot of the back of her head on the body so you can see the resin match. This was taken with good, natural light. As you can see, it's not an absolute 100% perfect match but it's really, really close and in my opinion neglible amount.



And one more shot showing a closeup of the face. Please keep in mind that I gave her a faceup using some strange colors as I wanted her exotic and just a tad surreal with a bit of a creepy Nosferatu feel. Although it's really hard to make this gorgeous sculpt look creepy in even a small way! I just love her.



I hope this post was informative. Now I'm off to find a cool outfit for her.

Jay, thank you for posting this pics. You have found the perfect match for your Edria. I like it so much. Do you know how long you have to wait for the body? I want to find the one with fast delivery.

 

It was under two months. I think about six weeks. Sorry! I can't remember precisely how long.

I'll check out Dika doll, it's hard finding a decent match for a body. I have a WS Impldolls model body its too small for the edria head but the match is oke my head is a bit more white then the body. I guess the Impldoll star body should be a better match ?
