@ nungmyo Edria makes a beautiful boy ! He is absolutely gorgeous.
I sent my Vampire Edria to the face up artist just today, poor girl, I have her for one year now and she is still without a body I do hope her face up will inspire me to get her a body.

 

Beautiful boy, nungmyo. I can't even decide if I like him better with brown hair or blond hair; Dio looks so good in both!

Also, looking forward to seeing your Vampire Edria's faceup when it's finished, aeryn! Some dolls just come together a lot more slowly and laboriously than others, but I suppose it's all part of the hobby, haha.

@ meili-melee I decieded to give him the blond one because the brown one belongs to my another boy.

Looking forward to your Vamp Edria too aeryn Dio keep blank face at my home for almost 6 month till I have an idea to give she a face up ,and I still can't bond with this girl(I call her Unna). Just one step closer to give up and put she for sell, But luckily my younger sis help me to get the slot of face up artist.I'm glad that I still have him.
Maybe it's time to change the face up when you can't bond with a doll you like XD

I do like my Edria Vampire. I got her eyes and a wig already and a great dollheart dress ! Its more about the resin color the WS is almost translucent I wonder if its french resin ?? Its so hard finding a body that matches the resin color of the head and I'm not very picky I'll settle for a 70-80 % match LOL. I have WS dolls but they are all older (read yellowed) the only newer WS I have is Impldoll the match is oke I'm not sure I'll like the bigger 64 cm Star body IRL. I have an Impldoll modelbody its a very nice body but only 57 cm Nerys (thats my Edria's name) looks a bit bobbleheaded on that body besides its a borrowed body and belongs to Leela my dolkot Leaf.

 

I think the resin that LLT using isn't fresh resin aeryn, I 've heard that fresh resin yellowed super quick ,that you know LLT's isn't.
I hope I can have more doll that made of this kind of resin XD

 

I think nungmyo is right. I have held a French resin doll once and the resin was very wax-like to the touch. LLT resin feels completely different.

Meanwhile, Kundry is getting judged by my other girls :p. They don't like her attitude much - and maybe they are also jealous because she manages to balance on such high heels .

 

Thanks nungmyo and Sigune I've never seen french resin in person, Edrias resin has the feel of normal resin indeed.

Good news! Kundry no longer has to parade in her underwear. She has a (voluminous) dress now, made by the lovely AyuAna.



To be quite right, she should be dressed in 12th century fashion, but there are three dolls waiting in line for me to make their clothes and I'm not the fastest (nor the best, alas!) of seamstresses. It has become my goal to get a professionally-made outfit for everyone, so this is Kundry's. Not the right epoch at all, but I think it looks great on her .

By the way: I started a photo thread for LLT dolls - because we needed one! Please contribute your lovelies!

At the moment they don't offer layaway. But Julia has expressed that she may start offering it when the body she's working on gets completed and put up for sale.

I just now received a tracking number for my open-eyed Edria . Um yes, there couldn't be enough Edria as far as I am concerned, so Kundry will have two heads... You'll see, satyrsmoon, she isn't only lovely in pictures, but wonderful to the touch as well! She is extremely versatile, suited to period and modern characters, to sweet and nasty ones - I've said it a hundred times, but having held this sculpt in my hands, I really can't understand anymore why I once decided against buying her. I was silly.

 

Oh wow, I'm so excited for you for soon to be having 2 Edria heads So lucky! Ahh, until I get my shipping notice in the next few months, I'll have to live vicariously through you and all the Edria owners. Congrats on getting your tracking number, Sigune

 

I got my Edria head! Yay! I was super surprised to find that her skin color is almost an exact match for the fairyland NS! Wow! Hybrid ahoy!
Now to take my body apart... Ugh. I need more bodies
