My boy came home! Just picked him up!

Fdoll resin is NOT a good match for LLT (at least as far as white skin is concerned!), but I'm happy to report that the Fdoll body is 100% compatible with the head, anyway, and doesn't look disproportionate or anything, as I feared it would. I'll be taking some photos for comparison soon, including pictures with my white skin Supia Lina boy, whose skin tone is almost identical to that of the head. I'm sure the body will also match alright, but I haven't tried that one yet.

More to come soon! Now I have to figure out my Edria's 'floating head' problem, since I wasn't prepared for that, ha ha.

I've compared my WS Edria to several different WS resins and here are my results:

Spiritdoll Proud - Edria is a bit pinker but not horrible
Supergem white - much whiter than Edria
Dollstown white - much whiter than Edria
Senior Delf White - more yellow than Spiritdoll yellow, and too yellow for Edria
Supia white - not a perfect match but not too far off. Less pink than Edria.

To be honest, I haven't found the perfect resin color match for my WS Edria yet. So far, Spiritdoll is the closest and the fit on that body is terrific. But I think Dollstown freshskin might work. I don't have that here to compare with now, but I will soon and will update.

Hopefully, others will let us know what they've come up with as well.

Oh good to know Jay, Thank You! Is that the Red Queen body with small bust that works? My Queen is still on Layaway so I am hoping to add another body to my order for Edria. The color is perfect with my IP EID body but I am worried that I may have a problem moding the neck that much.

Edria is just a little lighter than my littlemonica normal skin harmony body. With blushing it may work fine too. I haven't tried it for size because my Chloe is a pain to undress. Lots of lacing!

I'll also post my whiteskin photos soon. So far, LLT looks like a really almost completely perfect match for Supia's most recent white -- which sadly, is discontinued.

 

Lace Princess - yes, it's the Spiritdoll Red Queen body (same as the "Proud" body) with the small bust that I like so much. The Red Queen came with the big bust, but I sold that and replaced with the small bust. I like the ethereal and slim look of the smaller bust. Makes her seem more like a fae creature or something.

Here's Edria with my first faceup for her. I have to say that this sculpt is absolutely gorgeous and exquisite in every way! It was a joy to work on her. I'm not sure what her ultimate look will be, but this is my first impression. Sorry about the stray hairs. I was in a hurry to take her picture.



Mods, if it's inappropriate to show this picture here, please remove. I just thought folks would be interested in seeing her with a faceup. Now to work on body blushing. That's going to be a production!

She looks beautiful, Jay! She's as stunning as Grace Kelly -- if Grace Kelly ever did have a sleepy eyed look to her. Or maybe Judy Garland. Someone classical, for sure!

Jay she is just incredible. Love that slightly parted lip and those sultry eyes. I am thinking these girls (and boys) are going to be very individual creatures. I cant stop looking at her.

 

She is utterly gorgeous, Jay! (Just looking at her makes me regret not ordering an Edria head myself!) What a classical beauty.

My Edria head in NS is here and I´ll send her out for face up soon. Today i opened her eyes a little and put her on my Dollstown 13girl body in oriental skin. It is a perfect match in resin color (please see the neck where i sanded the old blushing to show the resin match)
and shape. The head fits perfectly on the neck. ( I also tried a DT15 girl body, but for my opinion the body looked a little chunky with the small head.)

Farin would you be willing to take pictures of Edria on the DT15 body? I was thinking of possible saving up for the 18yr body from DT but if the head really looks that bad then I may have to forgo that.

 

farin - thanks for those good pictures. You did a great job on the eye mod. Congratulations on getting your girl! That is a really good resin match. I wonder if the Dollstown freshskin will match the LLT white skin? I have a DT freshskin head coming soon, so I'll do a comparison if anyone is interested.

And @ Cloudedmind: Here is Edria on the Dollstown 15girl body. It fits well, too. But I want Edria to be a young teenage girl with small breasts and of slight build. The DT15 is much more mature. It all depends on the character You want. The height of 18yr Girl body will be about 68~69cm Dollstown stated. Maybe the Edria head will be a little too small?

Ah, the head looks kind of nice on the DT15 body. Thanks Farin. I want my Edria to be older so the much taller body doesn't bother me. I'm hoping that if the shoulder width is close to/the same as the DT13 and 15 body then it might work.

If I manage to snag an Edria in the future she'll share a DT15 body, so I am especially thankful you posted those photos!! I like how mature she is on that body...

 

Has anybody had previous experience with spiritdoll? I am buying my girl a body on layaway. I have not had any confirmation of my order, my downpayment and even the my order page is very vague about what I have paid. No one is replying to emails and I dont like havng all my info public on the Q and A . Can anyone reassure me ?

 

I know exactly how you feel, I did email them and posted on their Guest Book and Forum about my body that I paid for, and still nothing. I may end up contacting Paypal about this and have them get my money back before it's too late!
