I think she'd make an excellent boy. But the question is, a better boy than Miho? I don't know, I really have to think about it.

I wish I were more versatile person to appreciate girl dolls, but sadly, I just...don't. Sometimes I see some dolls who are lovely but pass them up because I just simply wouldn't do anything with them, and they're always girls. :I My poor boy must get so lonely.

I agree with you that her eyes are quite too sleepy, but again, sleepy is modified easier than full opened-eyes. I might plan to sand her eyes a bit. But first thing first is what the complete mold look like X3 So excited!

Same as me I always fall in love with the boys over than the girls. I even always think "this girl mold could be a pretty/handsome/smart boy!" just as I fall in love with Edria XD;

No, no. The vampire one. I'd want to thin out his face (or hers, if I got her), but I don't know i I want a sleepy eyed smirk (I thought the same thing as you, see!) or a sleepy eyed frown. Decisions, decisions.

 

If they do the same thing they did with Roderich then we won't see a final resin version until they're practically shipping her out to whoever orders her.

 

Babyjj: Vincent was nice, but I like this girl's more elfish look a bit better! I seriously may buy both heads, and then just make the other something else later, ahaha. Willpower and control, I have it not.

Cloudedmind: That in itself is exciting! I don't care! I would order the head in ah eartbeat even if only in fuzzy clay vision.

 

I would have done the same for Roderich if I'd had the money the first time he came around. Now I'm just wondering if I should buy two Roderich heads now or just hope he gets re-released again.

 

Ha, Edria is reading boy sculpt to me. Can't wait to see the final pics! I can't decide if I like Roderich or not. His 3/4 profile is gorgeous, but full frontal I can see that his eyes are just a tad too wide apart for my taste. I think if they were a little bigger or something. He's still beautiful.

 

I emailed to ask Miho about new head and she replied which confirmed I gotta get Edria >D *broke again*. Hopefully her face won't change much from the preview picture cuz I'm in love with it already XD;;;

Normally I use sand paper to sand eyes part because I needed to sand only a little bit to adjust shape :3 It's not very hard, just have to be patient and careful.

It was quite frustrated last time when I ordered Roderich about the final resin version because never seen resin color. Though the result is very nice, great color and texture is very smooth. So I think it will be as same as Roderich Only one problem is that I hope the company won't confused about shipping. There was a big mess last time.

 

I really really really love Edria, but she is basically a total upgrade for a doll I already own :/ I'm waffling about getting her, but she is just so perfect I can't believe it.
I also am rather fond of Roderich, but I don't know if he's actually what I want. I have a bad habit of seeing a head and then it changing features in my head to ones that it doesn't actually have. I did it to SSDF Cane and from the website to my photoshop mockup with Roderich I did it again to an extent. I just don't want to miss out on having a chance to get him when the head is so nice!

Yes, I've been watching this thread since his first release, the shipping was kind of a fiasco, but I'm glad in the end everything worked out for everyone, and hopefully it'll go smoother this time around.

meili-melee I saw in the database thread that you put down his body, have you gotten it yet or are you still waiting?

 

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on his Loongsoul body, which might not be here until late March/early April based on MoC's most recent projections. The body he's temporarily using is a Dollzone normal pink 72cm body that normally belongs to my DZ Chen, which is why I don't show much of the body in the photos. ^^;;

 

Ah, I see. I have the NP 70cm body from DZ(which is technically 71.5cm >_>) and I read that the resin color was a good match. The Loongsoul 70cm body looks nice and hopefully it poses like it's smaller counterpart but I'm still not sure if I want my twins to be taller then my DZ Chen. I've also been thinking about the 68cm body from DZ. The thing I'm worried about the most is resin consistency with the heads, even some established companies resin well vary a little from batch to batch.

 

Haha, yep, I think I was actually the one who provided the photos of the resin match between DZ normal pink and LLT normal. The match is indeed pretty good, though not 100% perfect.

So you're planning Roderich twins? *... drools* That would be amazing to see. Unfortunately, LLT hasn't been around very long, and produces doll heads in such small quantities each time that it's a bit difficult to evaluate resin color consistency at present. The resin quality is excellent, though. In this case you may need to have the heads in your possession before you can determine resin matches for sure and order bodies for them.

 

Yes, it was actually seeing your database picture that made me decide to go ahead and order both heads now when they come out, instead of one now and maybe one later. I really don't feel like hunting to find one later. I won't be able to buy their bodies for another two months or so, so I'll be able to compare them to my Chen first when they get here.

 

Hi! Joining in on this thread because I'm hoping to get a Vincent for my husband. All his dolls are vampires and we saw Vincent a while back and my baby just loved him. Crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get in on this one

 

Meili-melee You mentioned earlier that you also has the old style 70cm body but in tan, would you be willing to take pictures of that with Roderich's head as I'd like to see the proportions?
