    2. On the Julia’s blog, there is another head ~ Eros, there was also a note (somewhere) that it was limited to 20pcs, actually 18, since there was a mark that they were keeping 2 heads for personal use. Has anybody got this head?

    5. Hello everyone, I ordered a Roderich head in NS on friday and am hoping to get a confirmation tomorrow or later next week~

      I'm pretty much in love with the elegance body from Spirit Doll so I was wondering if anyone have tried to put a Roderich head on one (I know the neck is probably too thin for the head but maybe it could work anyway)? And if so could share a couple of pictures and thoughts about the combination, it would be much appreciated. :)

      I've got to get a face-up for my Roderich. He's on an SSDF body at the moment, and I'm thinking about keeping him there. The match is pretty good, and the proportions are pretty spot on. I'm undecided though, so for now he's faceless, wigless and nude. Poor boy. *snicker*

      He's in Angelsdoll tan body and the match quite great, but you can read about that earlier in this tread, there's pictures about the match. (not by me)

      A nice guy, Kihaku.

      Here are some comparisons: the LLT white color and LLT normal color are very similar. The Spiritdoll normal and Luts normal are quite close to LTT normal skin color. The DK is way too pink (it&#8217;s a bit washed out in the photo, but in real the DK pink is really pink).

      I like the color match with Spiritdoll (both normal color) and since Spiritdoll Proud neck is 10.5cm, it could be a pretty good body for Roderich. Too bad I don&#8217;t have any around to give it a try.

      And here, especially for meili-melee, is a comparison LTT normal skin with LS normal yellow. The body is from the very first batch (received in January 2010) and has been kept inside in a darker place, so there is no significant yellowing. The color match is not good, and the head is definitely not suitable for the 1/3 body. Imo, even if Roderich head is about the same as the LS 1/3 heads, it just doesn&#8217;t look right. Roderich features need a mature body.

      Btw. meili-melee, there may be a slight problem, Roderich head has 11cm neck opening, but LS 70 body has 11.5cm neck.


      No announcement for Edria yet, maybe she will be released after Roderich is sold out?
      There is he can be ordered by March 11.

To anyone who wants to discuss wait times or relate shipping news, please start a waiting room thread. Thanks and congrats!

      In a related note, we're still waiting on Dollshe to ship our Pure bodies before we can assemble the twin Roderichs (Kyros & Lothaire). I have a feeling we won't see them completed for a few more months. It's so hard waiting on so many things to come together. ;_;

    15. Thanks for the detailed comparisons, Tsukasa! It's okay, I already knew that the Loongsoul 70cm body has an 11.5 cm neck circumference, haha. I'm prepared to do some sanding adjustments, even if the fit ends up looking okay, just for the sake of better head mobility. (The head placed on the smaller LS 1/3 body certainly looks goofy though. XD)

      Since I already ordered the body several months ago and can't really change that now, I'm still going to hold out hope that the match will look tolerable when faceup is taken into account. However, if that doesn't work out, I'm glad that the Spiritdoll 70cm body is always an option, since the resin match is so good and it also has a lovely physique~ (I just wish the neck and arms on it were not quite so thin relative to the rest of the body, though.)

I know what you mean. ;_; I really like the Dollstown body but the preorder period won't start until about late March to early April and I doubt I'll be able to buy both bodies at the same time for my twin heads. And I'd want to check proportions first anyway. But I can't wait to see what you do with your twin heads. :D

      I was thinking you might just be able to blush to match as well, since the head is lighter then the body. I've seen worse matches work just fine when the head was blushed.

    19. Edria looks good so far. I hope Julia/LLT will be posting more photos now and then.
      I really admire LLT heads quality; I've got several heads from smaller workshops, both Chinese and Korean, but this one is far one of the best quality.

      Maybe, since they already have the tiny elf, sadly OT on DoA, they can consider making their own bodies eventually.


      meili-melee, your Roderich may actually be closer to the LS color than mine which is closer to Spiritdoll and Luts. At least according to the lots color comparisons posted on LLT site:
