    4. If you go back to page 15 and look at post 285, you'll see a picture of Eros. He was a head that LLT sold in early 2010 that was limited in quantity and only sold in China.

      I'm wondering what size wig is everyone using for their Roderich heads? I'm thinking an 8-9, since I believe I have a 9-10 that was sent with my dollzone Asura, which is to big on Roderich's head.

    7. 9-10 is too big. Most 8-9s are fine, but wigs closer to an 8 seem to be the best fit. :)

    9. You might try Dream of Doll. Their DoT wigs are specifically size 8 and the ones I have were the best fit.

    13. Happy Camille wigs fit well (see the photo below ~ sure not the style I want for Roderich, but for a size reference good enough and they have different styles). Although they write 22-23cm on their wigs, the wigs are definitely on the smaller end, at least the three I've got on hand.


      Here is a very quick arrangement ~ Roderich in long wigs. I have those for other dolls and also the body/clothes belongs to another head, so ignore the mixed style.
      Sorry, no mohair, but synthetic fiber instead.

      Btw. if anybody is interested in the resin color match, Roderich's head in the photo is white resin color + Luts normal real color body.
      Not unpleasant in real.

    15. Okay so here's some resin comparison pictures. They're not the best and I'll try to update them on Tuesday when I'll have a chance to buy more batteries and get some better lighting.

      Anyway first picture is just a body comparison of the Roderich head on the new style 70cm dollzone body. I personally think the proportions don't look to bad. There's really not much height different between this body and the 72cm since if you check the DZ site the actual measurements are 71.5cm, however this body just has a tad bit more meat on the middle, so he doesn't look super skinny. Of course because the neck is so skinny there's a huge neck gap, which you can see in the second picture. It's even more noticeable from the back, but a long wig might hide that. Forward head movement is fine. Resin match is pretty good, I'd say 98% perfect. Up close in person you can tell the body has more of a yellow undertone, although this is the normal pink body, but I think once the head was blushed and face-up you'd never know the difference.

    16. Ok, today [after long waiting] LS Morgan arrived. Either LS drastically changed their resin colors or I got a white resin doll instead of the normal yellow one I'd ordered [I think 'b' is correct ;)]. But no complaints, the color matches LLT resin (2011 = 2nd batch) almost perfectly. The photos show bigger difference than it is in real. Here we go - LS 72cm body and Roderich (white):

      The match is nice.
      The movements are limited in comparison to the LS original head.

    18. Oh gosh, Tsukasa, I love you for providing these pictures. I'm really liking the look of those broad shoulders with the Roderich head.

      Curious about LS's possible resin color change, though. I also ordered a body in normal yellow, so once it gets here perhaps I can at least compare it to my LLT normal resin (1st batch) head and see what's going on, haha.

    20. The Super Gem body was one of the bodies I posted earlier in this thread. Soom resin didn't match the first batch of Roderich but Soom resin is so iffy you might get one that works.
