As per the moderators' request (in the Edria thread), I've made a waiting room for LLT!

 

There is already a LLT waiting room topic here.

 

Is the re release of the Roderich head already sold out? He just went on sale again yesterday and the shop section of the website never changed. He was always 999/ sold out. Am I missing something?

 

I believe they meant he would be released sometime between the 1st and 10th of may, not right on the 1st.
Though I might be wrong :S. I was wondering about this, too.

 

Ah, I was wondering/hoping that might be the case. Fingers crossed this works out, they're such gorgeous heads

 

Another perhaps silly question- is it possible for Roderich to come with a face-up? I asked lldt this question a few days ago and im still waiting for a response.

 

I only know of two tan Roderich head's on the board and both people who own him are using an Angelsdoll body. The match wasn't perfect but close. You're best bet would probably be to try and find what other tan resins match the angelsdoll resin and then work from there. If you go back to page 12 and look at post 235 you'll see some pictures of the resin match. The Roderich head seems to be a bit more yellow.

So far all the heads have come blank and I've yet to see LLT offer a face-up service.

Actually, another question arose for me too; does LLT accepts an kind of layaway...?
I'm just curious, in case I decide to order a tan and ns Ludwig, too.

I'm really troubled by his shade of tan, because it seems kind of different from all the tans I've seen so far. T_T

Looking at the picture BabyJJ put up I'm wondering if Soom Bronze would be a close match since it has a more gold undertone to it at least in pictures than Soom tan. Granted tracking down one of those bodies probably won't be easy, and the height probably won't work.

 

Yeah, I started to consider Soom tans, especially because they have many shades ( no, really XD ) but then I remembered about the height, too. T__T

I've painted a few tan heads before, but Volks sunlight is definitely too yellowish and Dollstown too brown... Though I'm wondering about Limhwa, if I remember correctly their tan was also a rather vivid one.
But matching colours with a tan body might be easier - considering that the msc will lighten the head anyways and some blushing work is needed... :S

 

Llt seems to have put the Roderich heads up for purchase. The $999 has been replaced with$ 140. But they didn't removed the sold out notice....or did they? Is it possible the Roderich heads are already all gone or is the sold out just a site error? Help please?

Right! XD LLT tan resin has a little darker, brownish tan then and not yellowish like Volks suntan.

It's pity, tan Roderich head can't match Crobi tan body perfectly. T_T Hope the face-up could cover it.

So it was right... and he's even darker, not just different shade... huh LLT really gave us some matching work. *lol*

Then up I go and search for a darker tan, 70+ nice and lean body... ((...my god this will be hard!! )

 

Recently I have got my Roderich head from LLT, he is from the second batch and my boy has got his face-up at last



He is on the Soom SG body which does not match goodly, body is pinkish, but it's not the final choice for my Max. I am planning to test Dollshe DS18M (slim 18-year body) in the nearby future. If I obtain the test shoots of this combination, I will post it here.
But suddenly I found that LLT NS matches perfectly with RosenLied NS

Ah, and here's some info that might be useful to those who bought Roderich during his very first order period, last year--

I finally received my normal yellow 73.5cm Loongsoul body last week, and my Roderich head, which is from the first (slightly yellower) NS batch, looks fantastic on it. Interestingly enough, even though DZ normal pink is fairly noticeably pinker than Loongsoul normal yellow when the two are placed side by side, both of them seem to provide a pretty nice match for the head - so I think what's going on is just that DZ normal pink coordinated more with the tones of the light blushing in Ernst's faceup, while Loongsoul normal yellow matches more closely to the base color of the LLT resin itself.

I don't know if it's an issue of lighting or if the resin just photographs differently from how it looks in person, but my normal yellow LS body doesn't look at all the same color as Tsukasa's, so it's possible that she received a white skin one after all. Unfortunately I won't be able to take any pictures until later on, since I'm stuck at university for 3 more weeks before graduation, and both doll and camera were left back at home. Still, just wanted to throw this info out there in case it's helpful to anyone!
