Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. LLT resin - at least for the Edria head I have -
      appears to be a little lighter than new Volks resin, but the match is okay.
      Granado resin colour appears to be more like yellowed Volks resin?
      (Compared to some older Volks heads I have with me.)

      Granado Boyd = the most saturated, yellow-toned resin.
      LLT Edria matches Ariadoll pretty well;
      the colour difference seems to be due to different resin being used
      rather than any noticeable colour difference in real life.
      (As per what someone mentioned in the LLT Edria thread,
      Edria's head feels a little more like French resin than normal resin.)
      The Volks Emma head is yellowed, and matches Granado pretty well.
      The Volks Williams head is new, and matches LLT Edria better.

      I think the spectrum basically goes (as far as I can tell):
      LLT Edria <- New Volks Resin - Yellowed Volks Resin -> Granado Boyd
      (From the lightest to the most saturated.)
      So - technically they do both match Volks, but not exactly the same Volks doll...? :sweat

      You could put the LLT head on the Granado body,
      but the effect would probably be like an unyellowed head on a yellowed body.
      A face-up should help cover that, though? :)

      No problem with the proportions and color match.

      The outfits were gorgeous. Not sure if LLT is behind making them as well, but I hope they will be available some day somewhere.

    7. I finally became able to take some photos of Vincent on the Popodoll 63cm body, so here they are.

      The match isn't perfect color-wise, but it isn't anything that bothers me. And I quite like the proportions, too. :)

    14. I finally got my Dollshe body today.
      The resin quality is different from LLT's so the color is also a bit different. (LLT is smooth and Dollshe is more rough )
      My Roderich is from first batch which was suppose to match Volks NS. However, when I compare him with my Volks Minoru, Roderich is actually a tiny bit of lighter.
      And Dollshe Oriental skin matches my Volks nearly 100% in real life, so Roderich is just a tiny bit lighter than Dollshe. (Which is a good thing because face-up can adjust this different)

      Also, Roderich will have limited neck movement with Dollshe's body. Somehow, Dollshe Pure body's neck is *huge*. Left to right movement will be ok but front-back movements is really limited.... orz

    15. Yay for you, lucyhayashi! I hope our Dollshe bodies ship soon. ;___; I knew I'd have to modify the necks a bit, but it's good to see that it won't have to be too drastic of a project. I kind of want to be able to sneak the Dollshe head back onto mine once in a while. :)

    17. I know. When I order my Dollshe in Dec, I was hoping to sell the head and use his body for Roderich.
      But after seeing their boy in real life, I just can't do it .
      I think my boys will be sharing body =3=

      I am not going to sand down his neck. Somehow, I can live with longer neck XDDD

    18. FYI all: the Pink male body for Granado is STUNNING with Roderich, and they're releasing a few for a limited time. (in fact, when my POPOdoll body comes, Roderich's getting the Granado body and Boyd's getting the POPO body)

    19. Has anyone tried Roderich with the 65 cm Dollzone body?

      (Sorry if this has been asked before; I've looked around but not found it.)

      I'm looking at Roderich but anything taller than 65 cm is just too tall for my character...
