Thanks Tsukasa. I think I saw these before and completely forgot. >_< I'm afraid his head may be a bit to small on that body for my tastes. To bad, such a nice body.

 

I have him on the Loongsoul body right now, sitting here behind me (pathetically enough, still haven't taken any photos! @_@), and actually with a wig on, I'd say the head still technically looks a bit bigger than absolutely realistic proportions might dictate. (Weird, right?) And I'd possibly want to sand the neck down a little when I have time, so it doesn't look as elongated. So if you're mainly concerned that the head might look too small on the body, my personal opinion is that that wouldn't be a problem at all. (Also, resin match for 1st batch LLT normal skin + LS normal yellow circa early 2011 is pretty good, way closer than the 2009 LS normal yellow that Tsukasa gave us an example of.)

 

@Tsukasa: Oh yes, that's right; my Roderich head is from the first release when the LLT normal resin color was a bit closer to Volks normal, but I think the later batches of LLT normal skin are a bit paler and pinker. And LS normal yellow seems to be getting lighter with each change over the years?

I'm actually waiting to see how the LLT 70cm body (scheduled to be released with the Ludwig head) turns out, since it looks very promising so far. And I think the newly revised Spiritdoll 70cm body has a somewhat larger neck circumference, so that might make it an option for me to consider now, too. But for the most part, other than modifying the neck at some point, I'm pretty satisfied with having my Roderich head on the big LS body.

 

Thanks meili-melee. I may end up just waiting around until the DT 18yrs body gets released. I'm also still deciding whether or not I want my Roderich's to be taller or short then my dollzone Chen.

Yeah my Edria head is actually a bit more yellow then my Roderich head. Will be interesting to see if there's much of a resin color difference between them and Ludwig.

 

Anybody has photos of Roderich on sd17 or infiniti body?
I'm looking for a body no taller than 65/66cm...

 

I think fujimiya_aya has Roderich on Infiniti body, you can look it up, I think he looks fab.

Thank you, Katalina! The proportions seem perfect! My Roderich is in white skin, so I have to check the skin match...

 

Mine is also on Infiniti SID body: the proportions are excellent!
The only issue I can see is that he doesn't have a wide range of head/neck movement.
My head is LLT NS and the body is WS so it's NOT a reference for color, bus as the LLT NS is very light, it doesnt bother me too much.

Um, I have an insane love of Benedict Cumberbatch and saw the Benedict pictures on Julia's Flickr, so I am coming here to dream of the day when LLT releases Benedict... ::swoon::

 

The Infiniti/LLT picture just solifidied why I hope the new NS is actually more in line with most Normal Skin ranges and not so pale. There's hardly any difference at all with the WS, and it is very much white.

 

Hum I dont think I posted pictures of my Roderich before.
He´s on a Spiritdoll Proud body NS. Color and proportions are a really good match. The head might be slighly pinker but hard to notice.
The only problem I´ve notice is that he doesn't have a wide range of head/neck movement (he can´t look up for exemple). I guess it´s due to of the weird hock position in the head.

Gosh, even more beautiful Roderichs since the last time I dropped by this thread! Sjota, that's a really beautiful color you chose for Alistair's lips, and those blue eyes are striking. And talinata22, I love the elegant arch of the eyebrows of Raoul's faceup, they look wonderfully expressive from every angle.
