Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Then I've been tricked! My Roderich is the old version! Even though I bought it during the period when they sold the new version... why did you do that, LLT?

      Well, I guess that's good after all, since the old head seems to be better anyway! I'm just happy that I discovered this now, since I've been thinking about trading my tan head for a normal skin one, giving the wrong description of the head wouldn't have been good...


      Speaking of tan heads, have anyone experienced that their LLT tan skin heads get lighter marks in the resin when you remove the faceup or dry them with a towel after cleaning them? My head got lighter marks all over his forehead and also his headcap and part of his head is "stained" lighter by a silicone wig cap, that he only wore for a couple of days. Also, even though I sealed him properly (even sprayed a few extra layers of MSC), his eyelids got stained by the faceup! I can't believe how that happened, since all my normal skin dolls are fine and not stained at all! Is the LLT resin more sensitive than other tan resins, or have I just missed out on something important about tan resin in general?
      I was devastated when I found out about this:( and I almost feel ashamed, this is the first time I've "ruined" a BJD.

      He's my grail doll so I want him to be perfect, but right now I just feel like selling him or letting him be a floating head forever, or, as I said earlier, trade him.

    2. Resi, I think they still had the tan head in stock - they made a fixed number of tan heads. I don't think there is any ill will involved, honestly. I don't have any experience with tan BJDs, so I can't help you there. All I know is that my LLT heads are the most beautiful resin quality I have ever seen.

      Inpspired by meili-melee's Genevieve, I bought a Feeple65 body for Gawain. His head is from the second resin batch (made in 2011, I think) and the match is quite, quite perfect. My new, blank Roderich seemed paler and yellower, but the match may look better once he has a face-up. The new head is supposed to go on the Dollzone body my older Roderich was previously on, though.

      Anyway: I think Roderich looks absolutely perfect on the Fairyland body :). The only drawback is that none of the clothes I made/bought for the Dollzone body fit on this one :p.

    3. Sigune Realised now that I sounded very angry and upset. I'm not! Just wrote that late at night and forgot to use suitable smileys >.< I don't actually feel like they tricked me, I'm just a little confused. But the head already being in stock explains everything.
      And I also LOVE the resin quality! It's the softest resin I've ever touched. Just lovely :D but, well, unfortunately I ruined it :(

      And the feeple65 body looks amazing on Roderich! This really gives me some ideas regarding my own hybrids, so thank you for posting that :)!

    4. My tan head is from the old design too, but I'm ok with that, especially after reading that it's easier to fits eyes on this version. I can't help about your inquiry Resi sorry, my head is brand new and I don't have the material to do any faceup on him at the moment so he is waiting in his box for me to finally buy some pastels right now.

      I'm sorry I can't help you with your issue though, Resi. I'm not sure why those light spots are showing up on the tan resin. Would you be able to post a photo to give us an idea of what it looks like?

    6. Oh dang, that body/head match is quite good. I was planning on buying a spiritdoll proud body, but seeing as I have an F65 body laying around, I might have to try this...!

    7. melli-melee Right now he's got a faceup that covers most of it, also all my cameras are to bad so it doesn't show up on picture.

      I decided to trade him anyway, going to get a normal skin one instead. Gonna let him share a feeple65 body with my Vivien head. That'll be much easier on my wallet :)
