La Légende de Temps - Roderich & Vincent

I'd really like to see some comparison pictures with normal Roderich. I've been looking for a head for a character for years now and had considered Roderich, but didn't want the sleepy eyes. But the description says she gave him more delicate features and I want the same jawline as original Roderich. So I'm hoping he's not limited, because I'd really like to see some owner pictures first. The two I've seen don't give a good look at the jaw.

 

You may have already seen it, but just in case, the second to last gallery image on the LLT page for open-eyes Roderich, here, does show him with an original Roderich. It's not much but it's better than nothing, since it'll probably be some time before there are any owner photo comparisons outside of Julia's own. Based just on this picture, it looks like their jawlines are still relatively similar.

I hope someone can help me with a few questions. ^^

I saw that LLT have a 2 month pre-order for the OE Roderich head and I thought it was quite a long period. Does anyone know if it's legit or if they could have written it wrong? I hope it's legit since I really want a Roderich head, but another company is releasing something I'd rather buy first.
Also if I should miss this change how often do LLT open for pre-order on their heads?

 

I really don't need the temptation right now. >_<

Has anyone asked Julia if she'd be willing to take more side by side pictures of them?

 

When I saw OE Roderich, I immediately fell in love with him
He is so perfect for the character I have been trying to shell for YEARS!!!!

But I do have one question for those who ordered from LLT before.
It says the pre-order period is from Sept. 19th ~ Nov. 19th.
Did I read this right? I'm just so used to seeing companies giving only 2~4 weeks to pre-order I thought maybe this can be a typo?
Does LLT usually give long pre-order period?

 

yeast, the dates should be correct. Since LLT only opens up order periods maybe once a year for a given sculpt, the periods themselves are relatively generous in length.

 

I would love to get an OE Roderich head! It's such a beautiful sculpt!

Has anyone ordered OE Roderich head and got a e-mail from LLT?
I ordered Roderich about 2weeks ago and I still didn't get any massages from them and it makes me anxious....X(
I sent email three times about my purchase but still no answer. I'm wondering they are too busy to check their email...

 

Hello tip666, I understand you're nervous, but I don't think it's necessary. I received an e-mail, but it arrived rather late. For one of my previous purchases, I never received an e-mail at all, but the head arrived all the same. I do hope you'll get a message though, because worries are no fun...

Actually, I didn't pay for the shipping pee because they didn't have my country among the options. But after searching about LLT's shipping pee on DOA, I guess it might be okay to choose Japan EMS.... I guess I will just pay for shipping again and wait for the head....

 

I'm starting to worry a little bit as well. I ordered my OE Roderich on September 18, and even though I did get a confirmation email, I haven't heard from LLDT since then. Do you guys think I should send them an email to get any news?

 

Well... I've ordered three heads from them before and never heard anything inbetween the confirmation (and once I didn't even get a confirmation) and the e-mail with the tracking number. And I have always received my orders, or else I obviously wouldn't have placed another . With LLT, that's kind of how things are. You don't hear from them a lot and dealing with them requires patience, but they do deliver, and their heads are stunning quality.

tip666's case is a bit special, I guess - they aren't going to ship anything if you don't pay a shipping fee. But apparently they need to contact you in order to tell you what shipping fee you should select. If you pay for shipping, best make it very clear to what order the shipping fee belongs!

 

I'm waiting for an OE head as well, its production time is 2 month as stated on their website. So they won't be shipping the heads before the end of November, I presume.

 

Joining the chorus of those who ordered an open-eyed Roderich as well. I've never ordered from LLT before so I was assuming that they would make the entire batch of heads and then ship them all at once? I would be thrilled if that's not the case as I ordered back in October and would love to have him home sooner!

 

I ordered my head on Sept 18th (when they opened the sales) and I am still waiting for the head to be shipped. The announced 2 months and it is now more than 2 months for me.
I hope they meant 2 month after the payment and not the ordering period !

 

That's weird, I ordered through Jeeryama on Ebay and she did send me an email to say that the wait would be 2-4 months (so, it would be done somewhere between November and January).
I thought that this was just because she was an intermediary (and I was a bit jealous of other people's 35 days production time xD), but I guess not in the end?

 

Same here, I ordered directly from their website at the end of September, no shipping for me yet. My birthday present becomes a Xmas one.

 

I'm confused and delighted. I ordered a white Roderich oe head from their site Nov 10 & it's shipping!!! I figured I didn't need to hunt for a body 'til next year. wow.

I checked my other mailbox because you mentioned the shipping notice (I admit that I was a bit disgruntled because I placed my order a month before you and hadn't received anything yet) - and though no mail had arrived during the day, I did find my own notice just now. My Roderich is already in Shanghai... Yippee!
