Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       I've always loved Roderich and have been considering adding him to my family of resins here - I was wondering, can anybody tell me if there is a 62cm(ish) body that he works on? I always seem to see him on 70cm bodies, but I'm not interested in having his character be so tall. :sweat

    10. I, too am looking for a body around 65cm - to fit in with my Volks SD17 & SDGou & Soom Super Gem. I saw an Infiniti that looked very good with the old Roderich head. I'm matching whites which shouldn't be as difficult as normal skin tone. looking forward to seeing people posting their wonderful men. hoping some are on smaller bods.

      the LLT resin is so nice. similar to Volks. well....I think I know what body to get him. next month. :)

    14. I haven one Roderich on a Dollzone 65 cm body - it's quite a good match with DZ (old) pink skin - and one on a Feeple 65 boy body, which is also a good match.

      My tracking isn't updating :p. I'm quite sure the OE head must be in the country by now, but I have no idea what is happening...

      Katalina, do you see the differences in the sculpt (apart from the open eyes, obviously) that LLT mentioned? Also, is the resin colour as different as it seems in your photo, or is it just the blushing on your face-upped Roderich that makes it seem different?

    15. Guh, I've been staring at OE Roderich since he was released in September. From some angles, he's just a total dead-ringer for a character of mine that has been impossible to shell of many years. Handsome, delicate, youthful, but still masculine... Perfection.

      The only problem is, I need him on an Iplehouse body (or a comparable masculine body with a thicker neck). Do you guys think there's enough resin for me to mod the neck hole bigger? Because I am thiiiiiis close to springing for the head....

    16. petitballerine, aww, thanks! infinity body is a good choice, imho. but, i'm afraid, you may have to look for another body because, as I've just found out, infinity had stopped their business a year ago or so.
      their male body looks a lot like the volks one height and proportions wise, so may be you can get a volks like body from other manufacturers.

      Sigune, regarding the differences in the sculpt I'd say that OE version has a thinner nose and that's it. honestly, I don't see much differences between the two heads.
      My 1st Roderich is heavily blushed so that's why the skintones look so different.

      Letite, can't be of any help here as I've never done any modifications, so I don't know if there is enough resin to make the neck hole bigger. wouldn't you consider a spiritdoll proud body for your Roderich? It's a very muscular ans masculine body :)

    18. Katalina, thanks for your response! As much as I love Spiritdoll's bodies, a 70 cm body is just too tall for me. I'm eventually planning on pairing him up with an EID woman (Rebecca, probably), who needs to be close to his height as they're both around 6 feet tall and trained soldiers (her especially - she's the older and deadlier one of the two, he's the young, delicate-looking one that looks really out of place in war). So 65 cm is as tall as I can really go.

    19. Infinifi's site is strange. I went there, looked at everything "sold out" then couldn't find it again a week later. (last week) of course there's always used. Volks hasn't made a white SD17 or SDGou yet. I wish they would. right now, I'm looking at Dikadoll. the 5 part bendy version body. maybe too big for me though. :sweat

    20. Has anyone tried the April Story senior body for Roderich? I'm searching for a 65cm body for him too and it looks quite similar to the Infiniti, but I'm afraid the NS color and size neck wouldn't fit very well, any infos?
      I've thought of the SWITCH body too but it's quite expensive and they don't take layaway...
