I'm so happy that you adopted one of my little handcasts O.O they were very hard to handcast and there is only a few ^_^ while they may not be perfect...they are still really cute ^_^ I can't wait to see what you do with your little handcast Ted ^_^ I hope you will share pics with us ^.^ Huggles and thankies for letting me know ^.^
Here are a couple of shots with one of my Teds, Ayomide, and my Piposdoll Curo. Please excuse Ayo's lack of faceup, he should be getting one courtesy of thwippersnapple shortly. I also have a 14mm eye beveler on order so his Gumdrops will sit better in the sockets. For those interested in his clothes, he is wearing an MSD-sized shirt made by dizziness (hence it being so huge on him, but I think the look is adorable), the button is vintage and I found it in my grandma's notions box, jeans from Leeann.ca, and shoes from mimiwoo.
This is a silly little thing to notice, but My Blue Ted, Breckon, and my Lati Miel, Emi (Mew), both have pointing hands. I had a little giggle fit watching them sitting and pointing at each other. Sorry I don't have a pic to offer.. it was a quick lunch before returning to work. Just had to tell someone. ^__^
Oh lossefaire, I feel ya! I'm going to get a Phoenix Wright cosplay on the go for sure, as both my Teds point, so does my Bobobie Erin, and my oldskin DOD Leya has a pointing option hand. OBJECTION!
I'd be happy to post some pics. I'll take some and post them as soon as I get the chance. I am really impressed/amazed at the work that went into this little handcast. Even though there are a few air bubbles it doesn't take away from the doll at all. Those lips and the little pointing finger are what did it for me....I want another one lol
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Thanks especially, Di - it means so much coming from Ted's character creator! Yeah - eyelashes are hard for tiny boys - his lower lashes are all but invisible as anything bigger seemed just wrong for this face-up. I'll have to rummage through my stash and try out different kinds, see if any look okay. If in doubt I'll ask helene - she's my face-up hero (and lives nearby even!) captainkyo - yes, my moniker was my nickname in college as I (apparently) looked just like Kira. I think it was just the hair, which is much shorter now.

... my Hanyuu arrived today also....they were traveling at the same time....she is fascinating.....my bjd famly is growing slowly but nicely.... Looking forward to Jargeons arrival story....
I forgot to ask - what color is Jargeon? For that matter, dolllife1, what color is your Hanyuu? Can you tell I'm fascinated by all the different colors? Even the normal skintones. ^_^
Hanyuu is white skin... she is just wonderful.. I need to ask what size wig she wears... I can not find my way around here yet.. Rosi told me the size once and I forgot already... I tried to find it in our postings and did not... can someone help me? We need new hair... Thanks ..Barb and Hanyuu
I could be wrong, as I don't speak from experience, but I'm pretty sure Ted and Hanyuu take a 6/7 wig (Yo-SD size)? I hope you get it figured out!
If you take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the head (where the wig border would be) that's the size. (Just a tip... hehe) But yeah... Ted & Hanyuu were both 6-7".
Thanks guys.... I stole a bleuette wig with braids.. a 6/7 and I actually like it on her.. You can see her ears.. I love her ears....she has great ears.... I am going to look for some more wigs for her too.... I am heading to the bleuette cabinet right now.. grin....
Also hon, if you buy any on ebay, many of them are listed by doll name vs size. Ted & Hanyuu wear wigs that fit Yo-SD, Unoas, and 43cm /NarinNarae. All that 6-7 size. ^_^
