LadySaiyuki's TED! I'M SO EXCITED~!

^^ *Hugs* you're too sweet ^_^ I do not mind doing a faceup for your Light NS one ^_^ but it'll have to wait until Monday though

....sad to say...I was a bit careless...and sadly enough I was convinced to go see a doctor..as it was getting very hard to breathe for me and eat or even swallow water...it turns out that I've developed some seriously nasty bacteria in my throat and it looks like it may be from over exposure to not only the MSC but to over exposure to the liquid Resin as well as resin dust... I have been sick in bed for the past few days...and I'm so sorry I'm only able to post now...

I"m finally feeling semi okay enough to get out of bed and walk around a bit before I feel like I"m going to pass out... I over did it a bit at the Ohio Workshop...^^; I did like no joke 7 faceups in less than 4 hours...and I've been casting like 2-3 dolls a day...and when I wasn't casting I was drilling and sanding...to my stupidity...1/2 the time I wasn't wearing a mask...this is my own fault that I"m sick like this now...and I'm very very sorry....I will be back up and running on this preorder Monday...^^; again I"m so sorry that this week was like a failure ^^; I promise to get cracking down on this on Monday...I will always be using masks...even if it's only for a short time...as I really need to start watching what I do...to make sure I can do this ...as this is what makes me happy and this is what I want to do for a living...

I'm so sorry again everybody to be posting so late...as most of you saw I'm temporarily putting my Faceup commissions on Hiatus for a few months...so I won't have to worry so much and to limit my MSC exposure...I will still offer default faceups for any Dolls I do for $30...but these are the only faceups, I will make exceptions for certain people who need my help...but only on the weekends.

and thanks so very much for being so sweet and wishing me good health *Hugs* I promise that I'll get better and I promise that I'm going to do my best to keep my health up and still do my dolls ^_^

yay! *Glomps* You should have a payment from me for the lil Light NS one to have a faceup, and seriously tho - if you want to give yourself a break from the fumes of MSC, and someone who's not got a faceup after me (especially if I'm holding up the shipping process since I've asked for a faceup!), go ahead and send them theirs before me! I know your lil guys (n' gals) are worth the wait!

I'm contenting myself by squeeing over CaptainKyo's natsume!

Oooh, and when you open your thread for face ups again, I've got a box of heads for you! *lol*

 

Please take time to get well. Health of a person is far more important that dolls. I sent you off another payment, and if you can, let me know how much a faceup would be on my Ted. I will start to gather pictures for ideas, and again, I am in no rush for him. OK, I am, but not at the expense of your health!!

The Antibiotics are finally kicking in and I started lightly sanding a bit today...up until I had a nasty fit of coughing ^^; and then the light sanding was brought to an abrupt hault ^^; so I went out and got myself some super masks ^^; and from the looks of it I may have 2 newly done teds fully strung up and ready tomorrow night ^_^ that's what I'm aiming for ^_^ and I'll try to have a third one done for Wednesday/Thursday...I'll be trying as best as I can without over doing it...this week...but my aim is to have 3 full Teds done.

and for those of you who haven't seen...while I was up in Ohio I made my very own Ted: Artemis (she's a girl ^^; )

Natalie, seriously, you should be wearing a mask at all times when you work with resin!!!!!! Take care of yourself, you are too talented to lose!

For light sanding and other things that produce dust only, you should be okay with a heavy-duty dust mask. However, if you're going to be casting and doing things that produce fumes, you should be using an actual respirator to protect yourself.

It's great that you can produce these dolls, but you really need to take care of yourself long-term.... you may not be into dolls for more than a few years, but I guarantee you'll need your lungs and immune system your whole life! So what if it takes an extra week or two to get back to production - let your health really improve before you jump back in!

 

I know it's not PC to quote someone and say "ditto", but really... this is too important, I just had to say that I totally agree with Armeleia!! Take *proper* care of yourself... especially if this is what you want to do for a living long-term. ok??

I want to make Ted a matching cape to my Halloween one... do you by any chance know his neck & chest measurements? (I know you posted his hips and such, but you never posted those.)

I'm thinking that i'm going to make some smaller Noated pins and pin them on him & me and go as his mom (or something like that). I found cute devil horns at the costume store and really trampy red & black shoes... I just gotta make a matching outfit for myself, and dig out my cape from last year. hehe I'll take lots of pics... AND get to promote your dolls (and my anime site) all at once!!

now that I've learned my lesson ^^; I won't be so naive and careless about wearing masks and wearing protectants ^^;

Yeah ^^; I only wish I really read into those a bunch first before I started ^^; Instead I charged in Head first ^^; but I promise to be careful from now on...

as for being into bjd dolls...I've been into them since late 1999 and I know that I will continue to be into them for many many years to come ^^; even if I don't make them the entire time ^_^ and yeah before I start casting again...I'm going to make sure I'm much better... *Hugs and thanks*

(thankfully...yet unthankfully ^^; I went on a severe casting binge before I got really sick...and most of the dolls for the preorder are fully casted...they just need all their clean up work done to them ^_^ )
