LadySaiyuki's TED! I'M SO EXCITED~!

I went to target today... Ken's short sleeve shirts fit Ted just fine (I bought a set with a blue t-shirt so i'd have a shirt for Ted until I can get a custom outfit). The pants we already knew would not fit. The long sleeve shirts fit, but only if you remove the cuffs (Ted's hands are wide).

Hey Ladysaiyuki.. what are the eyes that the lil Teds came with? Their like long and flat~ I bought some dollmore eyes and they dont fit D;

do you think an eye beveler would make them work?

 

your probably with me sweetheart ^__^, we BOTH had send heads to the lovely SL, and as she stated earlier I was second on the list and my order was "delayed" (not in my mind anyway) so that all my babes are are all going to be sent together. I have total faith in Nat, so dont worry sweetie your Ted and heads will come home soon :> we just have to be patient and not worry about line order too much ;> (this coming from first pay #2 so if I can wait I think everyone else can too )

and I wish I could claim the chocolates T__T that is such a sweet thing! Kudos to whomever did that you get a gold star in my book

~ Man oh man, I'm gonna have to take pictures of these cuties today or tomorrow. ^___^

The two reds are up for some airbrushing tomorrow. I was cleaning the resin with my razor blades (it gets a cleaner seam line) and I ended up cutting myself like 10 times on my left thumb and left middle finger (I bled a bit, but I promise that your red Teds are fine).

LMAO ROFL - OH!!! & with respraying the blue Teds - my hands might actually be stained blue, forever. XD

Cuts+Dye= unlikely tattoos... +___+;; ~At least I can't forget you now, Nati/Ladysaiyuki. XD ehehehe

I promised Nati I'd finish them on or before my birthday, so I'll be taking pictures of them all completed.

P.S= I need band aids. And a soon-to -be birthday hug, Nati!

^^; sadly enough I have no idea what type of eyes they are...they are flatback acrylics...that is about all I know of them ^^; sorries ^^; I got them from a doll store in a mall near my old work awhile back...and the new ones I just got are off ebay with no brand name...but they are the same type...flatback acrylics...
but yes an eye beveler would work.

Super Special Awesome Important Update for Nov. 5, 07':

Hi there everyone...I have just gotten some absolutely wonderful news O.O so incredibly wonderful that I've actually cried...I just heard back from Dennis of Bobobie and he will be able to professionally cast my Ted and Hanyuu (there will be 25 of each...this maybe Teds last stand maybe...not too sure...but I may go 1 more round of 25 after the first 25 professionally casted are sold cause I really like the idea of them being professionally casted...Hanyuu will be limited to 75...possibly 100 ...but I will be taking like 8-10 of them for my family and me ^^;

I think I'll be doing a preorder for them...sue to making it easier than trying to come up with all the money by myself for all 50 at once ...as that for a poor person like me is a ton of money O.O
for those I have NOT already made Teds for already (artist casts) and wish to have a professionally casted Ted instead contact me asap to change to a professional cast.

I will be selling the Professional Casts with optional default (faceups (by Me) for $30 (not custom...cutoms face ups will be $15 more)
For professional casts I will require $85 nonrefundable deposit
(if you change your mind you can have your order taken over by another...but you must work it out and notify me)

the total for the first sets of Professionally casted Ted and Hanyuu have not been 100% decided on yet...will range about $255 -$265
(If you'd like Blue, Pink or Chocolate tan...they will be $20 more)
(I will only limit like 3-4 of each special color)
I will know exact pricing when I send off my fixed up casts to Dennis and he sends me the prototypes.

I will also be making 3 fullsets of each (1 of each type will be a special color)(complete with faceup, outfit, wig, and possibly shoes) which will be done auction style with buyout price.

Having my dolls professionally casted will take a huge load medically speaking off of my shoulders (Yay for no more hospital trips ^_^ due to chemical exposure)

just as a warning...due to the holiday season...I'm almost positive that the first set of professionally casted dolls will NOT arrive before Christmas...but I know they will be well worth the wait ^_^

Please do contact me immediately if you'd like to change to a professionally casted Ted asap (But only if I haven't already made your Ted or are working on your ted)... and I will post a pic of my test Hanyuu fully done by Saturday/Sunday night (I'll be working on her after work hours and I've been working on her on the weekends)

Wow... that's amazing news.

I'm sooo glad that your health will no longer suffer because of these dolls and that everyone will still be able to have their chance to buy a LS original (even if they are not hand-casted by you, they are still hand-created by you).

Eeek! Where did you get them (so I know to avoid, or at least pre-wash)... I never thought about staining at all *gah* Tho I have to admit, I've stained MYSELF with a new pair of blue jeans.. (yeah, that was fun getting waxed after - what's with all the BLUE DYE on you?)
