yeah I'm pretty excited that I won one of the Scholarships ^.^ I'm super excited about this workshop trip and I can't wait to go ^_^ I hope to learn all I can from the workshops and can't wait to meet everyone up there ^.^ I'm going to be there all three days and I'll be bringing three different Teds up there with me...and if time permits...I'm going to be premiering Hanyuu there as well ^_^ so I'm super excited ^o^

I like Ted, he/she may be a bit rough around the edges but you've managed to succeed in creating a lovely little character. I loved the sulky, pouty face anyway and was waiting to see pictures of one painted before I commented.
Ted balances well, is very posable, and has such a versatile face, a face that looks childlike yet very mature too! Most importantly Ted looks distinctive, Ted is unmistakable!! Congratulations on creating such a little gem!!

 

I'm waiting for a TED as well!! I absolutley ADORE him!! As I stated in her original post, he is the ONLY tiny besides the Curo that I have been fond of. I am in NO WAY a tiny doll person -- but he's just so wonderful!!! ^__^ And his creator is such a wonderful person!!!

 

Rawr! TED is working overtime trying to steal my heart! I think I'm about to fall hard for this little guy, but my funds won't allow it. Will you continue to offer him in the future?

Yeah, the pics are making me rethink his....err, her... character... *lol* Ahhh, I guess I can always have one as the "boy" and one as the "girl".

Super Special Awesome Important Update for Sept. 18, 07': FedEx came super late tonight...but they came and they brought with them my new Material supplies ^_^ which means tomorrow marks Day 1 of Starting to fill the Ted Preorders ^_^ tomorrow I'll be off to a bit of a slow start as I have to finish two faceups and make another mold for the head...so there will be less clean up work ^^;
YAY!!!!!
but remember I'll only be working on Preorder filling monday through Friday...unless it's for a trade or for the Ohio Trip ^_^

It makes me so incredibly happy there are so many people interested in Ted and the best part about it is a few of you aren't really even into Tiny's...but for Ted you've made an exception and for that I truly hope not to disappoint ^_^
I know that your Ted is just waiting to be made and to be on his way to you ^.^

Awe ^_^ as Ted is my first doll... I plan to make new molds for him as soon as his current molds die...I"m going to try and have at least 60 full Teds made in total...
but if you truly wish to have a Ted of your very own...pm me and after I fill all the preorders maybe I can make you one just for you and hang onto him at my home with my dolly crew until you can bring him home, I"m currently doing this for one other special person here on DOA...so one more Ted hanging about my home until he can be adopted by you is no problem ^_^

Heheheh...that's awesome! ^_^ funny enough I really just didn't want to go through my materials so fast and decided to make him Unisex so he and Hanyuu could share a body ^^; to save time on sculpting a new body and to save money in materials ^^; but I'm so glad cause now anyone could have a boy/girl Ted or Hanyuu (When she's made)

Hehehe it made me do the same thing...now I wish to keep two Ted's instead of one...as I really like him as a her too ^^;

Hehehe...yeah ^^; maybe I should have stared a bit more on the sizing of the Bambicrony's or the Volks yo's and trimmed the chub down ^^; but if I did that...he wouldn't be who he/she became today I guess ^_^ so I guess I'm kinda glad I didn't ^.^

Hi there everyone ^^; sorry if I got you in trouble with chatting ^^; Gomen Gomen ^^;

Today was semi productive...got two faceups done and re did the Head's mold and it came out pretty good... so now there is a new head mold...

I've casted two sets of Bodies...no cleanup work and no drilling ^^; as it was rainy ^^; and I can't drill out in the rain...as the electrical cord plug is outside and it would totally suck to electrocute myself and not be able to finish this project...
If it rains tomorrow...I'm going to spend most of my work day just casting the first 10-12 Full Teds or so...so then alls I'll have to do is all the clean up work and dremeling and all that...so I'll still be productive and I'll still be moving on this project ^_^

I've updated the thread as much as possible as far as the preorder list and all that...

I've also decided that all instate friends will have to "work for their Ted" don't worry everyone...they still have to pay for their doll...they won't be getting a free one ^^; but they will be discounted as they will be doing all the work past the casting stage...a true unfinished kit style ^^; only this will be one heck of a rough kit ^^;
