Heehee, I can't wait for Ted, although he may sit around blank until I DO figure out his face up XD

 

I know I shouldn't be laughing, but wow... and I thought doggies were silly sometimes *winks* Hopefully the cat's ok

I have a vague idea for the faceup, ok, more than an idea, but cant really decribe it so that it makes sense! At least when I re read, it doesn't sound like what I meant! *lol*

After careful consideration, I believe my Ted will end up being a girl...lately I can't stop looking at those pictures of him dressed as one...so cute XD

Didn't you all know I'd show up here sooner or later! I'm on the hook for a Ted too, just trying to choose, boy or girl, Dark Blue or white, you know the drill! Lady S thinks the blue wouldn't be a good girl, but I'm so into that color....

hehehe ^^; yeah Darien's okay (he's one of my 5 cats) ...he took out a chunk of the side...I had to make a new one ^^; it set me back a tiny bit...but no worries...I have Enki Flying in late tonight to help me for a few days with the Teds and to not only catch me up but to put me ahead in filling the preorders ^_^

hehehe...nah...no surgeries...as thankfully he didnt' want to swallow any of it...he just wanted to tear at it a bit...the only piece that was in hi smouth was huge and I took it away from him immediately ^^; as for Faceup for Ted...it's a defaultish faceup...but I'm going to check if you want your Ted to be painted more natural as in gender nuetral painting or more girly or more manly...but yeah...it's pretty default...as if I do specific faceups for everyone it'll put me behind in the casting process ^^; Gomen ^^;

hehehe...thankfully he didn't swallow any of it that I know of or have noticed...but he was checked out throughly as I wold be so sad if one of my babies was hurt due to my hobby O.O but Darien's doing fine...I just pack up all my molds at the end of every night ^^;

Darien, my kitty is okay ^_^ but yeah...my kitties are very silly and they are all sorts of into "helping me" ^^; but they are constantly placed on the other side of the house to keep them away from supplies and resin chemicals...but the one time I didnt' clean up for the night...I left a couple molds out ^^; thankfully he only got one of them and wasn't hurt in the process ^^;

^_^ it wasn't quite fixable...but I purchased extra materials just in case something like this happened...and I've made a new mold...and I have gotten 6 perfect casts from it ^_^ *loves on my silly kitten*

no worries...there is a new mold and it only set me back a day...but I have reenforcements coming super late tonight to help for the rest of the week to not only catch me up from that one day...but to move up an speed it up ^_^
I have already cast your Doll ^_^ he justs needs to be sanded Dremeled and cleaned up and strung ^.^ So no worries ^_^

hehehe...I so totally understand about making squeamish on the dolly parts...I was so bad about that before...all my doll friends totally made fun of me for that ^^; so I totally understand that one ^_^

as for me...I'm going to have a definite White Ted Girl with Short Pink Hair and black kitty ears ^_^ with a pinky faceup with black liner ^_^ I plan to have a boy too...but not too sure what color he'll be or what his faceup will be like.

Yeah...Ken's plastic undies ...I was totally cool with them ^^; but I'm a bit weird...I"m much better now then I was like a year or two ago...but still a bit weird ^^;

^_^ WOW another Ted Girl...and Yes the White Ted's make spectacular Girls ^_^ Yeah I absolutely love him Dressed as a her ^_^

Yeah I'm pretty shocked by the number of people who want to make theirs a girl ^_^
it's nice to know that there will be a few boy Ted's roaming though...but I guess it's not uncommon...I see tons of Lishe boys and lots of Chiwoo and Shiwoo Girls...and lots of Armelia Boys and quite a few F-16/lucas girls...to each his own ^_^
Customizeation is what draws a lot of us to this hobby ^_^

but it's so wonderful to see so many different types and styles ^_^ I'm so excited!

hehehe...going to be fun ^_^ fun fun ^_^ and To answer everyones Question...this weekend...I'll be making a Full Blue Ted and a full Green Ted and have them Strung up for Test Pics...as it'll be done over the weekend...they are Not part of the Preorder filling ^^; Gomen ...but they will be done ^_^

Super Special Awesome Important Update for Sept. 25, 07':
I made a new Mold for the body piece...and yes my Kitty Darien is okay...
and I've casted 6 full dolls and a ton of horns recast the head for the protoType...and over the weekend made my Mom a Ted for her Birthday ^_^

I should be able to cast another 3 full dolls by the end of the day...
I will also have Enki Here Late tonight and we both will be working hard the rest of this week on Preorder filling so I not only will be making up for the one lost day due to having to remake the body mold...but I will exceed that and be ahead of schedule ^_^ so no worries...I will most definitely have this preorder finished by the month/month and 1/2 timing I promised

I will wait until I have 3-4 completed Ted's to ship...as it will make it much easier on me...as I don't drive and the post office is not in my back yard ^^;

Enki has also saved me from a major Elastic Cord Issue...as it looks like the 40 sets of Elastic Cord I ordered from Leekeworld takes like 2 months to get to you...and if that's true...I've got like a month to a month and a 2 weeks until It gets to me ^^; *Huggles on Enki*

Here was the Ted I made this weekend for my Mom:
(all Ted's made during the weekend are NOT part of the Preorder as the weekends are mine to do with what I please ^_^ and if I make Ted's during the weekend I will Post to show them to you as they will wither be for the Ohio Trip, for my personal Collection, or for trades)

I repeat again, I'll only be working on filling preorders Monday - Friday




and here is the updated Prototype with new head (still need to bevel out the eye holes so eyes will fit in there properly ^^' )


(I WILL NOT SHIP A TED OUT LIKE THIS... as this is unacceptable to me...all Ted's that ship out will be personally quality assured that they are not full of Airbubbles ^^; at least not surface airbubbles like this)

I may recast the prototypes' body after I've casted at least 15 of the 20 listed preorders...as this one has massive airbubbles in it's back due to the Mold release I was using...so now I will no longer be using any mold release for the dolls as I found out it was the cause of more airbubbles than there needed to be...I have 6 perfect casts as well as a ton of horns that I test casted...well perfect as in like no noticeable airbubbles what so ever ^^; but they still need to be cleaned up, dremeled and sanded and strung....

Yeah we shall see this weekend ^_^ I'm test casting a full Blue Ted and a Full Green Ted...a darker Green Ted than the color that was originally photographed...and about the photograph...not sure why...but in the pic I took the test cast looks like an off blue...but If I look at it in real life it's definitely green...but it photographs bluish...but when I do a full Green doll...I'll photograph it by itself and with a white background so that should photograph it's real color better...
