Red was actually the color the color I imagined Ted in, what a perfect lil devil!

 

Ah! yes i have 3 cans on the way.. though i only need 1 xD. lol. very hard stuff to find.. i sitll have my first can from over a year ago half full xD;

Dont big doll companies take like two months.. i know i waited that long for my 3rd dollie.. and i didnt have any contact with them... Ladysaiyuki is nice to let us know whats going on when shes able, and gives us updates on progress and whatnot ^^

no worries Tvorceskiy...you are second on the list...and second for the white skinned...and if you notice ^_^ there are two in the pic...meaning that the one that is long silver wig is your doll...as the pink haired one is the Prototype ^_^ I will be doing my first shipment set this Friday...

sad to say I'm exhausted ^^; but I promise more pics tomorrow around lunch time...and sadly enough I was unable to get the Black one or the blue one fully done today...they will both be done tomorrow ^_^ so I will have a total of 7 Teds fully done...

more sad news...^^; Green did not go so well ^^; I will try again on another weekend...^^; here's a quick pic of the quick test cast...^^; I'm not going to embarrass myself with pics of the Seriously bad Green miscast ^^;


if it makes anyone feel better...yeah...regular companies can take up to like 2 months to do your doll...I'm trying to do more than 20 dolls in a one and 1/2 month span or less...I'm sadly enough only one person...so I can only go so fast...Thanks to a Wonderful Friend of mine Enki...she's helped me on casting, Sanding and Dremmeling this past 2 1/2 work days I've had...and she's also going to help a bit more if her time allows...I'm very grateful to have a friend that is will to help to much just to help this project move forward faster and help everyone in the preorder get there doll that much faster...
but like I said before...the weekends are my own and I normally stop work about 6ish sometimes 7ish...and I get up at 8am in the morning Monday through Friday for this Preorder...why? cause I think it's absolutely Fantastic to be this driven by a personal project and to be my own boss...I apologize by my recent leave of the internet...but as Enki Said...the more I'm on the net...the less time I spent on this preorder...so I will only be trying to get on the net a few times a week...to keep my time better spent on the Preorder...once the preorder is over I will be on the net like every other day or more...until the next one...
If anyone has any worries or feelings of distrust...please let me know immediately and I will refund you your money...as I want absolutely no one to feel that I may cheat them ^^; as that would make me feel sad that I cause someone to worry needlessly...those that have paid upfront have been made top priority...and moved up to the top of the list...as I promised...I did not however promise that I'd be sending out dolls on the first day...as the first day I set up the preorder I did not have enough resin to continue and needed to desperately fix my head's mold...which as soon as the deposits were received I placed the order to get the needed materials to continue...

I think I'm doing pretty well considering...

and I have a mini announcement to make...and I'm hoping not to disapoint anyone...but as most of you know right now...I was given a Scholarship to participate in the Workshop reatreat in Ohio...I will be out of town from Oct.11-15 and I will not be able to work on any Ted's on these days...as I will be in another state...I will resume on the 16th of October...

I have an aim to make most if not all the teds that have already been fully paid for...before my trip...I can not gaurantee that they will all be done...but I will try...

well ^^; before I fall asleep typing...I'm going to goes to bed ^^; as I haven't slept all that well in a week ^^;

Hey! I like it when I have an idea other people like! I will be dressing my Ted as a boy, and he will be a helper to Daeron, my Unseelie Elf guy. He will be used on spying missions, and gathering of herbs, magical elements, and uh... err.... Coffee.

I read about the scholarship and congratulations.

I'm not in a rush for Ted. I can't wait to see ted but do make sure you don't over work yourself Good things are worth the wait

 

*nods* Agrees - they're looking adorable, and I'm also wanting Nats to go to the Ohio retreat and come back with more dollie ideas!!! *squeeees*
They're too gorgeous And NO WORRIES from me - I know that sanding n' dremelling can take a LOT out of ya - I've been having all sorts of fun with a dremel and hand sander on resin recently, tho I don't have anything quite so adorable as Ted coming out of it (a massive 4' sword, armor and wings will be my end result - so if ppl go to Katsu 08, you'll see me - hell, I think I'll be taking at least one of my Teds with me! *winks*)

 

I wouldn't worry any Ted-waiters-for. I ordered a Custom House Limited last year and it took 12 weeks and not even an email. Oh well. Lady S's updates are absolutely obssessive compared to that! Also I have ordered other "artist's dolls" and have fully expected to wait and wait and wait for them. That's what happens when something is fully hand crafted by like, one person.

 

I am so excited for Ohio and super excited to see Ted(and of course to meet LadySaiyuki) there! I was hoping maybe that you could bring some of the green resins even if its just a resin blob so I could see the color That is if you still plan on making the green after the badness of how the last cast turned out.

 

^_^ Thank you guys for all of your kind and sweet words ^_^ and don't worry...no offense was taken by those who were worried...it's just that I don't ever want to make anyone uneasy or worried...and if I do I apologize and will try to make up for it immediately once I've made that mistake...

ps. just to let everyone know...the Teds will not come with any wigs (minus Dianne's Normal Skin Ted(as she gets a Complete fullset Ted for being the creator of Ted)

I'll give her a faceup this weekend...but I'll let you decide how she's going to look...as I'll let you hunt down the clothes and wig you want...this one will be your first Customized bjd ^_^ and your NS Ted will be your Ted ^_^

your Ted looks to be in very great shape...other than a few tiny airbubbles that I can't even seem to get caught on camera ^^; they are very small and not noticable unless you hunt for them...if you'd like me to attempt to capture them, just let me know and I will try again ^_^

BunnyDots...I'm working extra hard on your Black Ted and I will do my very best to have Your Ted fully strung and pics taken tonight ^_^

and due to some minor set backs and me forgetting to do the horns ^^; I will now be sending the first set of Ted's out on Monday October 8th
(there should be anywhere between 6 and 9 Ted's Shipped out that day)

Some seriously bad new to those who are not on this preorder...I will have to resculpt my Original Ted head...the clay head was knocked on to the tile ground...not once...but twice...and I tried repairing his head and he fall apart even more ^^; so I will either be resculpting his head or I will make a new mold using the best looking cast I've done...
but I will be restating this if I decide to do another order for Ted...those in this Preorder are safe as far as I know and as far as I can Tell....and due to this issue...I will be spending the first three four days of next week...doing nothing but casting...to make sure that everyone in this preorder is still safe....if I discover otherwise I will let everyone know immediately

I apologize for this kind of inconvenience but I have to tell you as it would not be fair of me to re culpt the head and not tell anyone...as that would be deceitful in my opinion -.-; but I figure if I let everyone know in advanced and if everyone is okay with it...it should be okay ^_^​
