Last Tensiya DO Bermann release - Preparing

It sounds to me that these people were not able to win one this time. After all if this was for "owners only" they might save a lot of hassle and only make the lottery for people who already owned one.

 

No , I don't think what's what it means, their english is very confusing indeed, but I think they mean that they expected that they will see many owner already names?

edit: I read wrong, "excepted", means probably they left them out of the lottery?

 

All I know is, I'm heartbroken. I was dreaming about him last night.

it seems that it's a valid lottery, and the people who had got a Bermann -again- are apparently just SO lucky when they joined once more and for the last time . now that's really pushing luck...

I am so sorry for those that tried and didn't win. It would have been nice if Tensiya had let people know what the criteria was for choosing the winners, I have always thought that would make this so much easier on everyone. But, as in previous editions, that isn't how they do things.

Why oh why didn't they just go to a lottery system like Volks has???

Oh well, it's water under the bridge now, and I am really so sad that some of you who so desperately wanted this doll for so long missed out.

 

I tend to agree - I interpret "excepted" as meaning if you already own a B-boy, that your name has been removed. But that's just my personal reading on it.

I'm sorry for those who did not win him. Congratulations to those who did! It's always a bittersweet win, though.

With the reject email I do understand they put apart the names of the persons who already bought a Bermann from them. It may be not well written (as my english, sorry), but it makes sense, I hope I understood well.

 

ummhh... to rewrite the statement,
"There were too many applicants than we expected/than our expectations. So we had to agony agony agony and agony for a long time....
From the results of the lottery (as in drawing lots), several names were drawn,
who've got already a Bermann doll 1-2times from us..

so yeah. it's a real lottery. as i've said, those people who got it again are REALLY freakishly lucky, it's actually scary

 

when i read it i thought
"we did a lotto which resulted in pulling names of people who have won bermanns from us in the past"
which i think is alittle unfair...if they /knew/ someone has already won a bermann (2 times COME ON) they should have pulled an other name to give someone else a shot (which is unfair in itself too but its better then bermann hording)

 

hmm they are kinda in the excluding stage i guess those that have 1 to 2 bermann from them will be ruled out.... [i am sure its what its meant to read as....]

they can;t do lottery cos the last time ihcecked there was onyl 2 people... lol so no they said it would be weird XD

Thank you very much Algesiras and bunnydots and everybody for your beautiful words for me. I'll give him a really warm home here in greece ^___^, i'm really happy 'cause since I live here in greece that there aren't many bjd people( i know all of them, and they can be counted in fingers), I wouldn't really have the possibility to see a bermann in person,like I would if I lived in USA for example. So I'm super happy 'cause not only I'll see a b-boy in person, but he'll be my b-boy too! ^^

And yes it's true like Algesiras says , Anu works super miracles, just imagine all the new upcoming beautiful dollshe boys, I'm sure we'll all melt with the new ones, that's what I kept thinking to comfort myself in case of loosing and felt ok. Just imagine a new fullset made by Anu of a new beautiful dollshe boy. The best is yet to come ^^ so never give up hope!

 

That's how I read it too. I think they must be aware of the fact that people complained quite a bit in the past about the same people winning multiple times.

I just received a reply from Sherry in the board for something I asked about the point, and she said that it meant excluded (they were very few people who got Il Milione ), they wanted to be fair with the ones that had no bermann at all! They said it was very stressing for them!

I would love *someone* in France has won him. We were several to enter. Only to have the chance to see one for real on a meeting, once in my life. *sigh*
