You make it sound like they sold out pretty fast! D; -hyperventalating- Sounds like I need to go into my bank account and get some money pronto haha, since my job doesn't pay me enough to get all the money for him in time. xD

 

Noooo.... I love L so much, but I never realised how small Lati doll heads were in comparison to the other SDs!!!

He'll look so out of place next to my Souldoll Paris I don't know what to do now.

Actually... I'm almost tempted to just buy L's head and put him on a MSD... I wonder how that would look? Especially since the Lati heads are about the same size as MSD heads...

Does anyone have a MSD they could pop their SD Lati head on?

 

Arashi - Well, it's possible! I got my response from their Q&A board, anyways. The outfits are FREE GIFTS. Auuuuugh I'm dying a little. Regretregretregret...

yukayuka - I think a LatiRed head on an MSD body would look... rather horse-faced, actually. sure the heads are the same size, but his face is still a good centimeter or two longer than a normal MSD's. I'm sure your Lati would look fine among other SDs-- as long as you have a wig that doesn't make his head look even smaller. The puffy, fur default wig would make his head look bigger. Souldoll Paris has a reasonably small head, too. He's not in the larger range of SD heads. So that just might work out without a fight!

 

Hmm... maybe... I'll have to think more about him. The Lati bodies are really so beautiful... wah D:

I want to see a Lati Red next to a Dolkot boy and a Souldoll boy~! Time to hunt for comparison images

I just ordered an M and well... IM SO EXCITED!!! I cant wait to get him! Has anyone gotten them with premium faceups? If so I'd love to see some pics!

 

Nope, mine are the plain old regular face-ups but I like them.
The only thing I didn't like was the company wig. You'll love your boy. They are substantial (heavy but in a good way) and have a great looking body sculpt.
Unfortunately my Latis share the body with Migi heads so they don't get alot of "face time". Should switch them out more.

I just thought I should let people know that the M sculpt has been modified significantly from the first release.

I bought my M with the old company faceups, but he's since had a change of makeup.

 

really? didn't know that. Do you know if they changed the body as well. I like my boy a lot and want a second one (way too many heads per body count here). He's from December of last year... ohhh its their birthday coming up.

I wasn't too thrilled about Nill as its too young and feminine for me. The KLMs have a more pronounced bone structure thought still young looking.

 

I don't think so, but I did up a quick comparison.



They widened the jaw line and increased the spacing between the eyes, so the new M's face looks...'flatter'. It appears to have less depth.

 

Really? They still show up as out of stock for me.

 

Your M looks sooo good, I personally think these guys look yummy no matter what faceup you slap on them, their features are so pronounced!

Oh no! Before I ordered mine I noticed that they took down some of the older pics from their site, and what I noticed was that it looked slightly different under their eyes. It almost looked like they had bags under their eyes in their older pics (in a good way) I really liked it because it made them look more realistic. The new pics didn't seem to have that, so I asked the company before I bought him and they said they hadn't modified them at all, that it was just a different faceup. Now I'm not sure what to think... Does anyone have any other pics of the M dolls, along with what year you got them so maybe we can do some comparing?

 

Oh, well I technically ordered him on Halloween, but hes still being prepared, I think that was the last order period Lati had for them (not sure when their next one is scheduled, but it might be a few months) ... still impatiently waiting on him, although I'm a little worried about if his sculpt is going to look different now though

*Sigh* *worry* schizocheese your doll does look very different. It looks like Yalissa's is closer to what is being sold now (which is still gorgeous) but I wonder if they have changed the sculpt at all since last year when yalissa bought hers. Can anyone tell?

Yalissa does your doll have that "baggy" look under the eyes that you can see on schizocheese's doll? It is so hard to tell in some of these pictures, with different faceups and camera angles it can really be misleading.

I wonder why Lati told me that hadn't made any modifications when I asked them, that doesnt seem like very good customer service to me... (sorry if it seems like Im ranting , this just caught me a little off guard) I have no doubt I'll love my boy!

 

As one of the few Latidoll owners around, I guess I should join in the fun XD" This is my K, he has one of the premium faceups circa 2007. Personally, I feel they changed artists/styles at some point, and not really for the better :/ Their new faceups do not flatter these dolls.



Also, I do believe that the recent (apparent) mods on their dolls are from within this year, probably because their master molds needed replacing? Although they probably haven't made any intentional modifications, I think that any new master mold they make for producing these dolls will always have some variations. These just happen to be significant enough to be discernible (for me and schizocheese, anyway).
