LatiDoll Yellow Discussion part 27

I use faber castell white poster tack, I received a second hand doll with silicone and it left a slippery residue that made nothing stick at all, I had to wash the head with soap and redo the eyelashes. So if any of my dolls come with any type of putty I throw it away and I always redo my second hand ones right away.

I haven’t gotten a ship notice so I’m guessing Mocha Hana was not part of the “no waiting” event. My order tab has 3 months selected next to the period.


Did anyone order one of the Lati Girls? The event head is already sold out. I was thinking about getting a tan Loui.

 

I ordered one from the “no waiting” event and it has not shipped either.

 

Event head was only offered through the 28th.
I don’t think I’ll order any, I really need to get clothes for the dolls I have

 

My friend ordered the mocha Hana on the first day and she shipped the next day. I had my first order ship the next day but my 2nd order hasn't shipped yet.

I got the shipping notice for my Hana this morning.

What scale are Lati yellows pls? I want to make a room set for them.

 

@stelladolls, I love the enchanted doll eyes and they go well with the color of the dress, is it from Ylang Garden?

I got the shipping notification for Jucy today.

@smudge, Lati Yellow are 1/8 in the bjd community but the scale of the room you choose depends on what your perspective is. If you make a 1/8 scale room then it will look like they are in a playhouse, but if you build a 1/6 to 1/4 room they will look like children in a full size room.

 

While Lati Yellows are 1/8, I usually pose them in a 1/4 room because I see mine as children. I do have some “play furniture” for them that is about 1/8 that would be like the chairs you would have little children play with.

 

@smudge i use 12mm yes, it fits almost all the lati heads. i use 10mm in some of mine but thats just me and there is gapping!

@NineOneThree yes! i love ylang garden. they make the best elegant clothes.
i really wanted to make a big order of ylang garden and clearlan, but it seems clearlan is closed for new years holiday.
well anyways, i hope they have a lovely holiday and this give me more time to choose what i want to order when they open again

 

Checking in to see new faces! Did anyone get their packages?

Hana was delivered today and I hope to get her opened and dressed sometime tonight.

 

My Loui was delivered Wednesday. I'm deciding if I want to use the brown eyes they sent or find something lighter.

 

I received mine today, I always have to chase my global priority packages down but it was worth it. I had a busy day but after dinner I got her dressed, of course it’s too dark for pictures now.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the new arrivals. I opened up Hana and they sent her with green eyes. Not what I hoped for so I’m now waiting on some ED eyes to come in the mail before I post pics.

 

That’s odd Hana came with green, all my limited dolls have come with the eyes pictured, maybe they ran out of the ones meant for her.

 

I've received my Zeze and Miel. Do you still have to load photos onto somewhere like flickr before you can share them here?

I feel like it's not as easy to find clothing for them from Europe as it used to be. There are some gorgeous sellers in Thailand but the tax just stops me ordering. I'm struggling with shoes at the moment!

 

I was looking at some EDs just in case and I was lucky to find a set of 12 mm in stock so they should be here in a couple days.

In the Lati photo she does seem to have green but they look lighter than the ones they sent. More towards teal then the bright green they gave me.

Her tan is so mellow. I love it.
