I love her tiny hooks! How did you make them?

 

It's an old aluminium crochet hook that got broken in the middle (the flat part). I shortened it a bit more and filed the end round. It looks like a real hook because it is the hook end of a real one.

Does anyone know how often Lati do a big group release of dolls? Does it tend to be a summer event or is there no pattern to it?

 

I don’t see a pattern to the bigger releases with a story and a bunch of characters but I’ve only been in the bjd hobby for 2 years. I think they are releasing a couple of event dolls at a time right now because they are participating in a lot of events and conventions.

 

anyone plan on ordering from the fruit event? ill be getting melon girl for sure and ill do whatever it takes to get that banana bag

 

I’m still wanting the Yomi sculpt but I don’t think I’d buy green resin. I like Melty with her cute freckles and the Sara sculpt is pretty. I need a cat loaf and the banana bag is cute too so I want to order something but I’m not sure yet.

Edited to add that I just ordered one of the pet rabbits on Doll Peddlar and you have to order a Lati White, Yellow, or Lime to get one so I probably won’t be ordering from the new event on Lati. I’ll have to see what they will have in July maybe since I try to limit my purchases to once a month.

 

I want to order Melty and get sara. Do they sell spare bodies? I tried asking lati but their answer wasn't clear. I also want a cat loaf and I love the banana bag but that will depend on price! @oneninethree who did you order? I have a lilac bunny coming from lati soon hopefully.

 

Has anyone ordered the summer secret sets that they released last summer?

 

If you mean the Summer Vacation mystery boxes there is a mention of them on page 16 of this thread.

I missed this question, to order the rabbit I got Loui, I’ve been wanting that sculpt for a long time and they dropped the price so I decided it was a good time.

 

my Sophie. Her tan is getting lighter with age. It reminds me of the winter tan from years ago

 

She is very sweet

 

I got Loui and after seeing a few owner photos of the sculpt as a girl I was sure it would work out that way for me. I tried about every outfit and wig I have and Loui is not having it, guess HIS debut will have to wait until I order more boy stuff, lol! The pet rabbit is really cute and I’ll be looking for a way to accessorize her a little before I take pictures with a doll so I can post here.

Meanwhile, here’s a new picture of Jia restyled again.
