1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

LatiDoll Yellow Discussion part 27

Jun 28, 2021

    1. Thank you so much, that's really helpful! I didn't realise the head comment had posted, I meant to delete it.

    2. Since there was mention of older sculpts just popping in to share my Lati Yellow Lumi who I just wiped and painted again. I've had her quite a long time now (11 or 12 years...doesn't seem like that long!) and she has yellowed so I wanted to refresh her with nicer face paint and add some pink blushing to refresh her.

    5. Honestly I didn't even realise that they have changed the bodies. I have a little group of Lati Yellows and then didn't add any more so had got out of the habit of checking in there. I will have to learn about the changes. I do remember having a wait time of about 9 months each time I ordered. They are so cute though. I need to find some tiny doll stands for them. I have Latis and one little Crobidoll.

    6. I think there are at least 4 different body styles for the Lati Yellows. The oldest one is single jointed. And the construction of the knee joints has changed several times.

    8. The new sculpts and faceups seriously remind me of Chicabi. Personally, I'm not a fan, but it is very different. The image of Lati has changed a lot. I wonder if maybe all the old artists, sculptors, and seamstresses have retired and these are the new artists.

    9. its kind of unsettling.. little creepy. im really not a fan.

    10. I have some old lati yellows (I guess about 5?) and i think im gonna sell them cause i'm not really a fan of the size

    11. I thought she’s similar to Yomi too, with a smile rather than the pout.

    12. I kind of like her. She's really cute in the photo. I don't have a big collection of this size at all though.

I just got some stands from Amazon and they almost work but not perfect. What type of stands (if any) do you use for your Lati Yellow dolls?

    13. For posing or just for display?

    14. I don’t use stands even though they would be easy to edit out of photos. I just struggle to pose them and deal with them falling over but eventually I would like to get something like these.

    15. I like thr new Milk sculpt. She seems more contemporary and reminds me if the TTYA dolls.

    17. Thanks @flornosertao and @NineOneThree sorry that I didn't see your replies until now. Yes, I meant just for display as mine tend to end up being laid down because I'd hate for them to fall. The Kaiser stands don't go down to the right size from what I could find (maybe I am not looking in the right places.) I bought a similar style but they are a bit cheap looking and the waist part doesn't really come up high enough. They do work and it's nice to see the dolls all standing for a change :D but I'd love something a little sturdier. I really like the little hidden stand thingies for photo taking! They look very useful.

Love your lineup of cuties @Dollquest I don't have a Lati with the darker tan - love that skintone. I do have an older Crobidoll in that colour though.
