Whooo, I didn't even know there was a Lati Yellow Sp thread! I am really, really, really tempted to get my little Byurl a big sister. I can just about afford it, I think. And I think I want Coco. Or possibly Ruki. I am getting all excited just thinking about it! BTW, does Lati do freckles with their premium face-up, if you ask them? I'd love freckles on the nose. Does anyone have an example of a freckled Lati Yellow face-up (not necessarily a Sp)? Thanks!
Meike do you think anyone else would be interested in trying to do a Lati group order? I was hoping to buy an SP Lami along wigs but have never even participated in a GO let alone run one. I know I've seen others discussing ordering basics on the yellow and white threads, how does one go about finding someone willing to organize such a thing?
Well, GOs are organized over at the Marketplace... However, I have never organized one nor taken part in one, so I'm afraid I can't really help you there!
I'm with Meike, I never knew there was a LYSP group. Here are pics of my sp girls, Olivia and Calle I am not a great photographer as you can tell but love taking pics of all my Latis.
That is so cute Saabira. Nice to see. Thanks for sharing. I like the cute sweaters. Where did you get them?
Thanks Dollightful, I made the sweaters. I like knitting for the little girls. I have been sewing to keep my children from being bare but am anxious to make some sweaters for the yellow basic and the whites.
Thanks Mary-Lee. Do you have any patterns for the Lati white basic size? Your website won't let me in.
Saabira - your sweaters are really good, great knitting!! I can't knit very well, I can knit basic stuff but I am very slow and get bored way before the end I've managed to buy a few dresses for Florrie from a lady on Flickr, so she will be ok for summer, now I just need to get her some shoes and sandals
Kayjay, thanks. Once you get into it they don't really take that long and it is really fun watching the pattern take shape.
Kayjay is right Saabira, your knitting is wonderful. Each tiny stitch is perfect in every way. And poor Pearl. I have sisters too. Olivia looks wonerful in that dress. They will kiss and make up quickly. Mary-Lee
Thanks mary-lee. I like fast results so knitting a tiny sweater is much more satisfying than waiting months to see a human size sweater completed.
Yes, I know exactly what you mean!! I finished mittens and a scarf for my daughter over Christmas. Seemed to take forever to knit!! Little garments work up much more quickly. Mary-Lee
Not a lot of activity here. I love this size the best, they are the easiest to sew and knit for but guess I am in the minority.
I've been playing with my two, although I haven't taken any photos (as Mimisstuff keeps reminding me ) I really like this size too, and I will get around to making some stuff for them, I'm working on another project at the moment which is taking my time up (have been asked/bullied to have a stall at a local craft fair, first time I've done anything like this so am frantically sewing!)
I know there are lots of Yellow Special lovers out there but they don't seem to find this thread. I wish it was more active because I love this size doll.
