LatiDoll Yellow SP 20cm Discussion part 1

My friend Sharon made some great outfits for my specials. Here are a few pics.

she also made some very cute dresses. Very talented lady.

 

we are doing the happy dance here because a we have a Yellow Sp girl on her way home. (Well...Mabel my LWSP and I are doing a happy dance, Aoife is less than impressed!)

I have been wanting a yellow sp. girl for the longest time, and now a Miel is coming home. She's having a bit of a sight seeing tour to get here, stopping off with my friend in the States before making her way down under but she left her home this morning so hopefully in 10 days or so, she'll be here!

I am not sure what style my girl will have yet - I need to get to know her first, but I'm putting my bisou Ai to work as a clothes model so that she has something to wear when she gets here.

I have been lurking on this thread for a while now, enjoying everyone's spam...now I need some more to keep me going!

 

well, congratulations i've also been wanting a special girl for some time now. i had a Kuroo, but she didn't do it for me

thanks - that's funny. If I had bought off lati I was going to get a Kuroo! But when I saw Miel, I thought she was super sweet, and no long wait makes her even better!

Aw, thanks. Ellie's my favorite girl so I tend to spoil and take lots of pictures of her.

LOL! Yup, it is! A bit too big on Abby of course, but it is just so sweet, and since there are no true Yo-SDs in the house currently, Abby got to wear it for a while.

Those dolls of yours are so beautiful!

I was lucky to get a Lati Yellow sp body from mp and at first added it to Pukifee head (isn´t the most perfect match I know, but at least there´s one whole doll now instead spare head and spare body. ) and if I´d get lucky some day in future and found a Lati head, I could make her whole as Lati, too... But awhile - here is Mia!




Fun to get another size of doll to make clothing to. At first she is trying on Pukifee dress, that didn´t fit on her well.

Milly I just love your hybrid girl. I wish FL would release a doll at this size!

Well, my Miel is currently in the air between the US and NZ and I should have her in 3 or 4 days. My friend kindly took a picture of her in her parcel for me which made it all the more tantalizing! I think Mabel will be pleased to see her as she will even up the FL and Lati numbers again!

I am completely stumped as to a name for her, but hopefully she'll tell me when she arrives!

 

Honeythorpe, Thanks. I just wish I could take better pictures. My camera skills are not great but I also have to work on getting them to look more like little girls.

 

oooh my Miel might almost hopefully fingers crossed maybe be home in the next couple of days! She disappeared off the tracking radar and now there's an odd message that I've never seen on any parcel I've ordered before! But I'm hoping it means she's through customs and home.

Saabria Does your camera have a macro function (looks like a little tulip) It's great for getting nice close up shots. I am no good at photography either. I have an elcheapo camera but it does have macro and supermacro which I use all the time for getting my dress photos. I need to start amassing a little collection of props to style my photos with. I admire people who take beautiful dolly photos.

 

Yay, Miel arrived home today! She is so pretty but quite the kickiest girl in the house and will not stand up! I guess we'll be trying wiring her in the weekend.

I got a few quick photos as the sun was disappearing so these are not great...but here's my pretty new girl!

Cedric got that kicking problem too, even in the arms which can be quit annoying. On the other hand it suits his character

 

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm looking forward to spending some time with this girl. Must dig through my pile of Blythe boot and see if there are some that will fit her!

stargirl you can use pipecleaners and maybe wrapped florist wire to give them some stability through the legs (and arms). I think there are instructions somewhere in the "how to's" part of the forum. When I'm not sneaking in quickly at work, like I am now, I'll have a look and put in the link.
