Hi Kate. it is the only thread and it's a little quiet (I can point the accusing finger at myself since I hardly ever post here!) I am on the look out for another Lati head so that I can keep a girl at Sp. size all the time (Molly has two bodies). Saabria - it's good to know that the new bodies are better. I do wish that there were more people sewing for Lat Yellow Sp - while I'm in the happy situation of being able to sew my own clothes for them, I do like to buy my girls outfits.. Guess I'll just have to road test some more patterns when I have time. I really want some casual gear for Molly Reine Keep saving for one! It's a really nice size and I don't think fairyland are going to listen to my pleas for a doll this size. (I would buy each and every sculpt if they did) While I love my pkf/lati yellow size girls, it's nice to play with someone with legs!! Meike I just love Abby - such a gorgeous redhead! Love Molly Spam! and thanks for the reply. I am looking at the secondary market, but also considering ordering one. I am tying to decide wich mold. I would think the larger size heads would look better on the SP's. But I am not sure who they are. Love all the cute spam. katie
Kate I think Lea has the biggest noggin - and I think Bayer's is bigger than Miel's if the ease of putting wigs on my bayer is anything to go by! I know there's been some discussion about head sizes on the regular yellow thread so it might pay to ask there. I don't think any of them will look particularly small - the difference is still fairly minimal. Go for a face and faceup that you like. A mohair wig can always foof out the head if you think it needs balancing out. I am with you on the new Miel faceup by the way (it's a little angry and masculine looking - I never knew that Miel was meant to be a boy until this new face was released!) Have you thought about ordering premium makeup on a Miel head - it's not that much more in the grand scheme of what we pay for them and might mean you get the girl you really want. Hmmm I am considering an Sp kuroo simply so that Molly can steal the new sp. body from it, and I can put the Kuroo on molly's renewal body. Decisions decisions!! Hi all, it has been a while since I have posted I am really glad things are picking up here. I have been so out of the doll arena lately I am thinking about parting with my beautiful girls but what a headache. Not only are there dolls everywhere I look but furniture, toys, clothes, shoes, wigs, eyes. Everytime I think about it my head spins. So I keep procrastinating. Even if I do sell off my collection, I will still want to see all the pics of your beautiful boys and girls. Keep spamming.
Saabira don't overwhelm yourself. Why don't you pick out a favorite doll or two and some favorite clothes. And then start slowly selling the rest. Maybe 1 doll a week. And 1 batch of clothes a week. no one says you have to do it all at once. And if you change yor mind you still have your favorites. Sorry for typos I stink typing on my phone Katie

have you tried etsy? there are LOTS of great clothes there (knit and not ) i've also used some Barbie stuff, and some Blythe dresses fit too
Seconding the Blythe dresses! They fit Lati Yellow Sp. very well. This for example is a dress originally intended for Blythe: Be careful though that you don't buy the really long dresses. But knee-high on Blythe should fit perfectly. Also, Spampy sews the most lovely things for Lati yellow Sp, and also Honeythorpe on Etsy. Good luck!

I can stop lurking now and join you. I orderd a Grown up Belle SP yesterday. I have Lati Greens and love them . . . and while I was tempted to buy just a "regular" yellow, I couldn't resist the SP. My one concern was getting clothes but once I read about the Spampy and Blythe stuff (not to mention Honeythorpe possibilities), I'm in! Although I'm sure it will take a while for her to get here from Lati . . .
Another source for clothes for the SP kids is Boneka..the size 18 clothes fit well, and are really cute.
