How long have you waited?

 

Just since the beginning of August -- so about 6 (ish) weeks. Not too long . . . .I've heard of some people having to wait longer.

 

That's great, because I'm waiting for Haru and I placed my order at the beginning of August
So you make me really hope that I'll recive the shipping notice soon, thanks

 

My girl arrived when I was away on a business trip earlier this week. She is very cute -- although I think they sent a WS doll (and I thought I ordered NS) but it is no matter. I love her to bits! Her name is Sadie but she has no wig at the moment and she will only let me take her picture when she has hair, so it may be a while before I can post a pic . . . . maybe I'll try and snap one when she's not looking, LOL!

 

spensers_mom yay she is here! I'm so pleased for you. She probably is natural skin. The new lati ns is very very pale - much paler than FL resin and paler than the old lati ns. I'm not sure if I have any comparison pictures between Molly and my new Bayer Trixie but they are quite different.

Yes, you must sneak a picture of her - maybe she could hide her noggin with a hat or headscarf! (oh and btw, I owe you a PM too)

How is the new sp body? I'm seriously contemplating getting one for Molly this ordering period.

 

That would make sense! It is still a very nice coloured resin -- and it really does make the face up stand out. I would hate to see how pale/white the white skin would be, though.

I have a PKF blonde wig I can put on her just for pictures (she must be a brunette or darker hair colour -- I tried a brown mohair wig I have on her and the colour was perfect but the wig was too, too big and wild for her. )

I think this may be the beginning of a very slippery slope.

And the body seems fine, although I have nothing to compare it to, save for my Lati Greens. I think her knees are double joined (it looks that way). The hands are still hooks, though. But that works for me as I don't change the hands on my dolls all that often anyway.

 

Saying goodbye to this thread... I have just let my Lati Yellow Sp go. Thanks for hanging out with me!! I'll see y'all on other threads no doubt.

 

Meike, I saw your lovely girl in the MP - I hope she goes to a good home! I've been lurking on this thread a while, because I'm thinking of adopting one - I have an off-topic girl in roughly the same size, and I really like it. But - the posing concerns scared me. Glad to hear the newer girls have better posing!

 

Looking to part with some special size clothing, can someone tell me if Blythe wears the same size? I want to reach all possible markets and know I have bought Blythe clothes for my special size dolls but don't know if the opposite applies. Thanks for any help.

She is lovely Tolgy! I love the happy look on her face. These size Latis are just wonderful, aren't they? Did you make her dress?

I do feel a bit guilty, though, not having enough time to take any pictures of Sarah Jane. I must try to get some this weekend.

Tolgy Congrats on your Coco's arrival - she looks so pretty in yellow and I just love the colour of her hair.

Congrats Stargirl I hope you can order your SP girl soon - I'm waiting for orders to open up so I can get a new body for Molly.

Speaking of Molly, she's off today on vacation. Her faceup needed a little refreshing so she and her lati yellow sister Sawyer are off to the spa. So here's one last look at the 'old' Molly. I can't wait to have her back home again in a month or two!

And yay, Molly is back. I couldn't be more thrilled with her new face and it really suits her SP body. She also snagged a new dress which I bought for my blythe girls. It's by Ellie Moe on Etsy and fits her really well.

honeythorpe - Wow, congrats on your Molly's new face-up! She's even more adorable now. I love her blue eyes/light brown hair combination and the foxy dress is really cute.

 

I'm really interested in a boy in Yellow SP size, to be the boyfriend of either my incoming Yellow Tan Kuroo or my PKF Icis. So, does anyone have pictures of a male Momo in NS? I like the official pictures Lati has of him, but maybe I would also like him in Tan? I'm still not sure...

Honeythorpe - Molly's new face up is fantastic.

I have 2 adopted Sp's but the previous owners were not sure if they were version 1 or version 2 bodies. How can I tell. And on the version 2 bodies are they hands and feet any smaller?

Hmm. . . not sure about that. I think it might have something to do with the arm and leg joints. But don't quote me on that! (I'm not sure at all . . . )
