LatiDoll Yellow SP 20cm Discussion part 1

KayJaytshe is beautiful and I love her dress! I just got an SP body for my Leah too but don't have any pictures yet. I love them on the. SP.

 

Thanks Minigrace! I like Lea on the Sp body, I have two on the normal bodies so it's nice to have one grown up and I think the Nutcracker faceup gives her a bit of an older look. I bought her dress last week at a dolly meet, it was made by a friend.

 

She looks lovely! Blythe clothes are always worth trying, sometimes we get lucky and they fit
I need to look for a tan SP body for my Pharaoh head -- right now she's sharing with my Bat Coco. I wish Lati came out with more Sp Limiteds in tan. Well, more SP limiteds in any color, really...

 

I agree totally. I was lucky with this one as I found it on ebay for a good price.

If you can manage to find any, the ReMent series of clothes are a great fit for LY SP

 

Hello! I have read that LYSP are close to the same size as CH Bisous. Can anyone here tell me if that is correct? My first BJD was a Bisou and I loved sewing for her, so I hope I can use her patterns for an incoming thanks

 

I am going to try and post a pic tomorrow...but I would say yes, much of Bisous dresses will fit....not sure on pants. I have dress set sold by CustomHouse for Bisou on my Lati SP and it is wee bit tight but snaps closed.

hi, Babyelf, the wig was made by Sherbert Lolly Dolly and is her premium mohair. It is very soft!

 

Thanks for the info - as long as my incoming are close to the same size as my old Bisou was, I should be able to get them dressed. I love this size!

 

New to this thread on Lati Yellow SP. I recently was lucky enough to grab 2 of them in the Marketplace; a Coco and a Miel. Coco has kept her name as I think it suits her and Miel has become Caleb. I've been reading the past comments and it's been helpful to know what everyone has found out about them; plus I have 2 doll friends who have the SP and were willing to share what they found that works with the SP. Unfortunately, they got their dolls at the beginning of the opportunity and places where they bought shoes then, no longer sell that size now. Has anyone found good shoe sources currently? I have found a few, mostly girl shoes, but having trouble finding really good fit for boys shoes. I couldn't get the pictures to show here, so here's the link to my Flicker album for the SP.

Hi LittleBitGal and welcome! Boy shoe choices will be hard to find in this size. You might try Boneka -- I think there are some lace up shoes that might work in dark colors for boys.

 

LittleBitGal Congrats on your new arrivals! Ruby Red Galleria has some cute sneakers - currently they have the brown ones in stock. Just make sure you're in the lati yellow sp section as they have the same sneakers in regular lati size too. I have these sneakers in purple, which sadly no longer seems to be available and they're really cute and a great fit. You can just see them on Molly in this pic (and here's a link to the RRG store)

Icicile, thanks I did order some tie shoes from Boneka and they work.

Honeythorpe, I did buy the brown canvas shoes and 2 pair of boots (black & brown) from Red Ruby, which is all they had in the SP size. They have pictures of other cute shoes, but none for sale. Hoping they will give us some more to chose from.

I bought a Lati yellow SP Lea in October! Can't wait to get her home as I have wanted her for many years!

I'll check your ideas for shoes and clothing but if there are any other places with clothes and such please share them.

 

Hey guys. To avoid a somewhat long story, I ended up with a Lati on an SP body - and I'm giving her to my mom for Christmas.
To avoid my mom's inability to search the nets for clothing, I thought I'd buy her a bunch of clothes to go with.

I looked at this thread before, and I've bought some Blythe clothes - but mostly T-shirts, and I'd like some dresses or something too. Will Pullip\Blythe dresses fit too? Is there a difference between Pullip and Blythe sized clothes? What else fits there girls? What about shoes? Her feet are way bigger than my normal Yellow's feet. Not that he has shoes either....bare feet for everyone!! XD

 

I think you're right to add clothes and shoes -- even those of us too familiar with online shopping have a hard time finding things that fit SPs.
If you know exactly what you'd like, you might consider a special order from Spampy -- the clothes would fit for sure and you could specify colors, patterns, style etc. Her rates are very reasonable and shipping is cheap.

For shoes, I tend to look at ebay -- type in "Lati Yellow SP" -- or Boneka.

I just got a Dal -- I should check her stock on my SP...
