there are some people who have cherishdolls near me. i'll take a comparison shot at the next meet up if they bring them.
"We adjusted the size and shape of Yellow Sp. hand parts in customers demand." Oh, yaay! I can live with the big feet, but I really hated the hands. Wonder what they will look like? Now off to sell a vital organ for dolls....
I like to think I had something to do with that as I left a message about it explaining. NOW I wonder if they will send hands with my Belle order as I want to change them on my SP Cookie!! how are are they to change? eeeps
I had a chance to compare Tiggy with a Cherishdoll yesterday. I'll post pictures later, but basically the resin color is a great match, but Cherishdoll has a thicker neck. Lati's heads are a bit bigger but they wear the same size wig. I much prefer the Lati body.
I changed Momo's eyes to blue, and took her outside to the gardens my oldest son planted for me for Mother's Day (he planted about 14 gardens all around the property - one vegatable garden - the rest are flowers/shrubs and trees) The colors are just starting to turn here - I ordered the SP laches when he was offered this week, can't wait to take some photos of the 2 of them. Hugs Mary-Lee
Thanks Rosi (I think this is Rosi). I love your knits on the GLS list - you did a great job on them - did you post a photo here??? Hugs Mary-Lee
And as always, you did a beautiful job on them!!! Your dolls are all so well dressed. Big hugs (pass them on to the dolls) Mary-Lee
Can anyone get onto the Lati web site? I have tried : http://www.latidoll.com/2005_en/index.htm but it no longer works. . . . the new web site doesn't work for me . . my computer must be too old. Anyone else? Mary-Lee
I can't get it to work :-( I may never get another doll again . . . whhaaaa. Must get a new computer, Wesley, come help Mommy!! Mary-Lee :-) Must steal his new computer. . .
I just read on another board that the Laches dolls won't be shipped until mid November. That seems so far away!!!! Mary-Lee
mary-lee: I was on the Lati site during the day yesterday, without a problem. But I'm wondering if they're working on the site today (and last evening)? Their site is loading slowly for me right now and when it's done, it opens onto the Novella story page, without options for 'shopping'. hmm.. ((BTW, I love my gardens also. You have such a kind son to do all that landscaping for you so that you can enjoy all that comes from gardens...flowers, birds, butterflies, etc!!)) Momo's new eye color makes her look deep in thought with a touch of playful naughtiness!! Cute! Your outfits are stunning and always so special, as usual, mary-lee!
I did go to the 2007 site yesterday, and was able to log in. That is the first time since it was opened (a few months) I have been able to do that. And I was able to see my purchases - and my 2 orders waiting to be shipped. Sorry, I guess I panicked . . . I have tried so many times in the past with that site with no luck. It is okay now (breathing sigh of relief) And yes, my 16 yr old son is brilliant. He is a high honours student, 98% average, and an eco-warrior, very enviromentally conscience hence the gardens rather than grass. The gardens were my Mother's Day present, all the kids and my husband turned the green grass into at least 14 gardens with a plan for next year to plant more, add trellis', stepping stones, several sitting areas/patios, and a much larger vegetable garden. We have made some excellent acquaintance through these endevours and received many plants for next year. I had no idea about hostas and day lillies!! It has opened up a whole new world to us. But, my son is applying to universities this year (Waterloo offers the engineering program he wishes to attend) so I loose my computer technician, our network support, my gardener, my best critic and my friend. At least during the school year. We always have wonderful debates at the dinner table - it sure will be different next year. Thanks for checking for me - I feared the worst because of my prior experience on the new site - seems all is well now. Hugs Mary-Lee
