Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Lee-el : 90cm Dolls

May 2, 2013

    1. Erk! wow.. despite knowing how complicated it can get seeing it in print ties my brain in knots LOL.. That and English aristocracy is not something I know at all. I have enough trouble following who' what in my fave regency book series... especially since pushing the boundaries of rank are often at issue in the stories... My oc is one of them. Born out of direct inheritance lines, goes against family anyhow (spy/privateer for the king) but ends up being the inheritor in the end anyhow... I'm always worried about accidentally picking a 'real' Peers name and inserting my boy >< Especially since there is plenty of real historical ppl showing up in the stories I read ... Priny and the 'patronesses of Almack's' etc. Although I'd have to say if I 'crated an entire story' it would have to be a bit AU since I have an adorable tiger boy I couldn't leave out lol... he is also a prince ^^.

On a side note... it's someone in mom's family history that holds the distinction of being the last heretic to be burned at the stake... not once... but twice!... they thought his screams were recants and put out the fire... he told them off and was set back on fire! O_O... There is a plaque commemorating it even lol (not the double burn but the last one). I wish I could find the right book with that stuff in it ><.

But I see I am going to have to have my new home help person do a bit of research ;p... I hate research lol... I also suck at it which is why I've sort of avoided it ;p...

    2. I wouldn't worry about it, lol. No one is going to say anything....just stay away from title's in current English Royal family and you won't ruffle anyone's feathers. I stay away from them too. I'm a direct descendent of a few Kings of, Earl's of Cambridge, Earl's of Kent, and a couple Dukes of York among other's, which doesn't mean I can use them even so. Nor could I use Lord Stapleton since there is one currently. One of the Duke of Norfolk's tilte's. Sir Robert I'm not using either, but that's because of my grandson ROBERT.... But other then that I'd say pick what you want! Lord Castle-Leon maybe? CASTILE-LEON is From way back in the day. Surname of a couple wives (Eleanor and Isabel) of one Prince and one King. But Castle-Leon wouldn't even b a problem. Something like that. Changed a bit. r if worried about it...SIR. Any number of Sir's can be in any family if it's an earned one. Old days it was battle won. A Baronet is a Sir that's inherited. One at a time sort of title.

I'm having trouble with this editing. Actually with typing as well. Keeps skipping letters.

    3. Everyday when I look at the Lee-el website I'm just thinking come on now girls appear XD

    4. Me too Ebichu! I want to see the 90 cm girls. Very very curious.

    5. Just a question for you guys that have your boys already have you found any shoes that fit thembesides the shoes from the lee-el website?

    6. I'm still looking myself. Also would like to know!

    7. have you tried the angel of Dream 1/2 doll shoes? according to the website their guys have feet that are 11.5 cm a difference of 0.3 cm maybe it would work or be a really tight fit

    8. remove a foot and take it shopping with you and check out kids shoes (got my EID a pair that way ^^)

    9. I bought the Alzad boots and the walker boots with my boy, so I haven't looked around for other shoes yet.
I did get some Dollmore Trinity boots for my LumeDoll Usil. They are the same length as the Alzad boots, but bigger in the toebox - the toe is wider where the Alzad boot is pointy - so they are too big because the Leeel foot just rattles around in there. But you could put a cotton ball or something in the toe of the shoe...
      This shoe, btw: http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=10857&b_code=B20050506094358&c_code=C20120912040445

I would say the Leeel boy's foot is closer to 12cm long than the stated 11.5cm. The heel rounds out a bit past the bottom of the foot proper.
Also, for shoe searching, their foot is 4.5cm wide.

If you want to spend a little less, these Lusion ones are about the same:

Other than that... I don't know.
I have these EID boots on hand, and by the measurements, they should fit. But they don't. They're too tight.

    10. Good tips :) and I'm gonna look into it when My boy arrives :)

Oh the crazy idea of buying genuine converse shoes for a doll I think I need to get into rehab -.-

    11. Bahahaha!
Wait... How much are they, and would they fit? ~.~

    12. I think they're around 27-42 dollars on their site and maybe size 5 for kids would work haven't tried it yet :)

    13. Hmmm.... I may have to check that out! Thanks!

    14. Hey :) what eyesize fit the guys the best? And if you have differentsizes so we could get a comparison?

    15. It will depend on the face sculpt you get, maybe. But I thiiiiiink my Alzad has 14mm glass eyes. EDIT: I think they're 16mm too! Derp. Took them out today due to a faceup fiasco. Fixed. Kinda. :sweat
In this photo, the purple eye on the right is what Leeel sent in him - almost kept those in. They're gorgeous. I think they're 16mm (and the blue one on our left).

      The eyes he wears now:

    16. It also depends on personal preference and the type of look you want... And you might like one type of eye with one look and different eyes for a different look... like if Alzad went from that look to business man might mean differnt eye size as well as color.... not that I can imagine him like that O_o... He'd too cool for that lol,.

    17. It's for anastasio :) and i don't want a cartonish/doll look I want a more mature and realistic look for him :)

    18. Hmmmm! Now you make me want to try that! Tall, tan businessman!
      They do have that suit.

For more realistic, definitely go smaller on the eyes. I don't know what would fit best in Anastazio. Maybe someone who has him will let us know.

    19. I'm gonna try to do a realistic full body blush on him and some tattoos :D

    20. Definitely take pictures! Sounds great!
