definitely take pics, even if you look at it and think it's awful... keep a record... when a second attempt is made you can refer to what might have gone wrong... and everyone loves a 'how NOT to once in a while... don't believe me? check out some 'head/body swaps that definitely do NOT work ... to me some of those are the 'best' ... especially on a bad day lol

I think my guy's current eyes are 16mm as well. Sorry! The eyewells are kind of big, so if you go for 14mm, you might want to go squishy-type eyes so they'll flex into the corners of the eyes and not gap. Or get some oval eyes. There are a few of those out there.

See?! lol That's why I don't collect girl dolls. No fantasies there. It's all visceral motivation with these guys.

I had one lady about... early thirties, that was really interested in Singha today. She knew immediately that he was a male, while her husband immediately thought it was a female. All dolls are girls/Girls play with girl dolls - it's still ingrained in a lot of folks out there. I'm chipping away at that, one person at a time.

I just thought of something today I realised how big the guys really are and that made me wonder how do you guys transport them when taking them places?

 

I don't have the 'giants'... mine are 65-70 cm's... but I will be hauling around and EID m/f couple and a Soul Doll zenith boy with a nYID girl soon(ish)...hopefully by this summer? And I am less than traditional ^^ I invested in a vintage baby buggy.

I just carried Singha around the gardens like a child on my hip. (He was facing outward, his butt on my hip, my arm around his waist, his arms up over my arm, camera in my hand.)
And that's ALL I carried: doll and camera. I was definitely thinking about Lady Tiku's buggy by the end of the afternoon! lol My husband says I should get one of those baby slings, you know, the child strapped to your chest? I think it would be too fiddly to get off and on. But funny!
Back when my Mecha Angel was my biggest, I'd carry him around over my shoulder like a shotgun.

 

I'd almost pay to see that lol

 

The buggy is a great idea but it would feel wierd for me if I took them to Town to look at fabrics like that. Has anyone found a big travelbag that you can pull that fits them?

Haha! I know! But at least the products aren't going out of stock! I still want to get other outfits and the guitar, but haven't been able to get the money together yet.

As for travel bags... I don't know. Maybe one of those big blue IKEA bags? I used to have a couple of those for hauling around two or three EID boys at a time.

 

I was thinking something sturdier where I live people don't care about other peoples stuff. I'll have to wait until october to be able to buy My boy but until then I was thinking about sewing some clothes for him so if anyone can help me with measurements it would be very appreciated I'll post the measurements I need soon

Those are the measurements I need to play around with patterns for him so if anyone could help me it would be very appreciated

 

do you have a particular 'chart' you use? (one with pictures) since many ppl will not know exactly where to place a tape measure. (knows this from learning the hard way in theatre ><). Ppl don't always think of the same 'exact' placement for what a word says (Ie shoulder width can be several different things depending one which one you want.... btw I don't have a doll ... I know this from working with actors ;p but just though Id mention it.

Just google "tailors measurement chart" and go to images and pic the one you like and post that here ... diagrams always help ^^

there can be at least two measures for men's bust too... over and mid (if they have largish pectorals). Women have a minimum of 3 (over, under & point of breast/fullest part)
