Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I just wish they would put some pictures of the girl up soon! My husband has said he will pay for my girl for a Mother's Day present! Don't want him to change his mind, lol

      I love knitting for dolls. I just use regular patterns and change needles to gauge I want. I found very small knitting needles on the internet a few years ago when I went looking for sock yarn. I use sock yarn for knitting doll sweaters.

      His wrists are a little thinner then I would like ( I can be kind of a stickler for proportions on my dolls) but he looks very nice all in all.

    4. I suspect they do them in illustration rather then normal human. Human is 7 1/2 heads and illustration is 8 1/2 - 9 heads. Which means slender. Fine by me! I understand the female is 85 cm....8 1/2 heads? 10 cm....30 cm from top of head to waist? Waist to knees 30 cm? Knee's to ankles 20 cm? 5 cm from ankle to floor when flat feet and maybe 10 cm if heel feet? I could be wrong but that is what I'd like.

    7. I find my boys to look like manga characters I used to read..... which is why I adore my boys. My boys remind me of the rocker, bad boys , and boy next door type looks that I crave when I read manga and I can associate each of the boys I have to one of those character :) Right now I am craving for Jacob but I do not see that happening for the next 2 years or so. Money where are you. I also find the larger the bjd the more realistic to my characters they are LOL

    11. You are probably right Paula- Everything else on him looks proportionate to the rest of him. He is pretty amazing. I suspect that you would have to commission clothes for him or sew yourself . I already put him on my wish list hah.

      I've seen this before on a Doll Zone tan Cosmo I had a while back. It looks much worse in photos than it does in person. :sweat

    14. It doesnt seem too horrible even in pictures.I wonder if they airbrush his tan on or if they mix the color in with the resin itself?

    15. It's not airbrushed, but it's not all the way through the resin either. My boy arrived with two broken fingers. You can see it's much lighter inside the cross-section.
      (They had already seen my photos and started making a replacement hand, before I emailed them about it! ^__^)

    16. aernath, have you receive your new hand yet from Lee el? Also if you do get Jacob post lots of pic. I want him also but of course no money and probably won't be able to get him until next 2-3 years down the road. I would love to see lots of actual pic of him. :)

    17. Oh yes, I got the replacement hand a long time ago. As I said, they started making it even before I asked! ^___^
      I love taking pictures! That won't be a problem. But it will be a while before I can get Jacob. Probably later this year. Like, Christmas. :sweat

      I'm wishing they would make a black suit! I have my Singha in a very ill-fitting one that is for another doll entirely (not his size or shape at all), but... it still looks good on him if you squint your eyes and daydream a bit. :XD: The grey one is nice, but I prefer black.
      But even just for clothes for these guys, ... I have to save up.

    18. Sounds like there is going to be a run on Jacobs come Christmas time. I'm saving for him too. Thank goodness the girl they're going to produce is a short 85cm. If she'd been 90cm I would have been saving for her but since she's short we still on track for Jacob.

It's so funny people are considering her to be short my first bjd was a feeple60 and I was thinking when I opened her box up that she was BIG but now I've been proven wrong and can't wait till my new guys arrive I Think I'm in for a shock even though I've measured them up beside me. Still 85 cm is considered big for a girl according to me if they are 1/2 which I Think they are she would be 170 irl and he would be 182 that's only a difference of 12 cm and that's not so big of a difference :D
