Thanks! I really need to do a new shoot with her but I'm not crazy about her eyebrows so I will re do her face before I take any more shots. Also I think I need to lighten up on her eyelashes... she kinda looks posessed heehee. Everyone's dollies all look nice and warm. I think Mint is jealous, she doesn't care for the warm weather here. I think she would be a good snow dolly. One day. Keep the spam coming peeps!
My baby (Bebe lol) got a new face. I'm not used to it yet, and I don't know if it will stay but he's stuck with it for now.
Just read the News thread about the new Leeke D fairies (Leeke's site). WOW, those D fairies are quite adorable, stunning colors!! What do you think? And it seems that Leeke has finally developed a new body (gentle body) for the Ds, which looks definitely more posable than the old one.
I have some questions... why elf honey and sleeping honey have different colors? And those prices (face-up+body blushing, etc) are added to the price of dolls or do they include the price of doll?
I really love the faeries. Very cute colors! The sleeping honey (blue) and elf honey (lavendar) really, really tempting me!
Different colors... I wondered about that too! The pure doll without face-up, wig or body blushing is $280, with wig $307, with face-up $330, with face-up + wig $357, and so on... (see option drop-down menu).
Those colors are awesome! I'm very tempted to adopt one of those fairy skin colored girls, with the wig option (one of the style pictured in either pink cocktail or lavender or blue mix, and a random wig) have to decide between the two sleepy too, they would go so well with my "dreaming" Suzuna (yo sd )
I am super tempted to put a little lavender baby on layaway. I have to admit the chunky njointed body has kept me from Leeke D before but the new body looks super cute! I'd like to get wings or ears or something for her too...
OMG, I'm kinda stunned more people aren't talking about them...I'm becoming obsessed! I totally love Sleeping Honey, the blue blushing on green, it just gets me, aieee! So I'd have to do the blushing, the price to add on wigs means I'm essentially getting one free...horrible! Fullset! My sis happens to fancy Elf Sweet, I wonder why she's the only one to get the excessive sparklies, I love her feet have 'em too, LOL! I think they're all outstanding--love the group shot--they make me excited. I think this is an impressive way to launch a new doll body for sure...but I wouldn't want to dress them is the only problem, LOL! Who would cover blushing like that up! I love them ALL, but I think if I had to pick two I'd go with Sleeping Honey and Elf Sweet - Elf Sweet simply because of the excessive sparklies, even though Elf Honey is my preferred sculpt (I prefer the pouty look over the smiling one). I just don't know if I could say no to the SPARKLIES.. even though I have no money right now and don't know how I can possibly fit even ONE in... we'll see! Edit :: Further staring, and I've come to realize Elf Sweet looks REALLY like Bambicrony's Elf Shy, who I already have in purple x_x BUT THE SPARKLIES. So unfair Leekeworld... give them ALL sparklies please!!!
I wish the skin tone was choosable. I LOVE the skin for the sleeping fairies but I want open eyed elf Honey. I also don't want to go to the trouble of getting a modder to open the eyes incase it comes out badly. But that little minty blue one is so cute!
LOL! I think Elf Sweet looks slightly like an elf to me--I wonder if they have pointy ears? To the QA board! But that almost abstracted slightly smiley face does work for me. But Sleeping Honey is divine. I love her sincerely, from her resin color to her blushing...this is going to be a much harder month than I'd anticipated! I had expected lovey-dovey heart themes and bunnies for Chinese New Year... Not outstanding fairy girls! At least, er, I wouldn't have to worry about clothes, clothing these girls would be like covering up a painting in the Louvre... I want to take pictures of them with my little Soom faery girls floating overhead, sigh. .hlp
I actually wouldn't order the body blushing. In part because I could glue on my own rhinestones, but also because I would worry about it chipping way too much and after 4 Soom MDs I don't LIKE body blushing.
Aw, that's too bad! I have several Soom MDs and I still adore body blushing...and I don't mind having Leekeworld do the creative work for me, I still think they're entirely lovely--plus, Soom and Leekeworld are two totally different companies, after all! I will be leaving them pretty bucko, as they are such works of art (to me)--I still have some Soom tinies who are nekkid run-abouts, LOL! So these darlings would have some excellent company. At this point I've asked about seeing the ears--and they said no ear pictures, aargh! So that's another way in which they're different, I think Soom would've put wigless pics up by now, yikes! I'm fairly confident that I will be getting Sleeping Honey, so my only other decision is, will I also be getting Elf Sweet? .hlp
Does no ear pictures mean they have human ears though? Or that they want to keep the ears secret? I'd probably be much less interested if they had human ears, and know I'd be disappointed to bring one home and find human ears! Not that I can afford one anyway! Or even if I could, I don't see how to choose between Sleeping Honey and Elf Sweet! They should have just put sparklies all over Sleeping Honey too, then I'd have been thrilled! xD
Well I was just reminded that Leekeworld actually has a bank account within Japan that makes for much easier payment.. which has suddenly made me really want to try for one of these! Arghhh noooo!! Back when I thought it was paypal only and no layaway, that alone was giving me enough to say JUST DON'T DO IT. But now.. now.. ARGH. But I'm still stuck of course.... I really really am, as I can only get one if I'm going to go for it. Why didn't they just make them all so sparkly TAT
