Tell me about it...it's like they wanted to give Elf Sweet an extra boost somehow, like she needed it...maybe they used up aaall the spackle on her, LOL! I am just so enchanted with the shot of all four of them, if I happened to wander into a fabulous inheritance or the lotto, I would greatly enjoy recreating said shot, ROTFLOL!

They just siad no pics, so about the ears, I donno. Maybe I should just flat-out ask? But I get the feeling they don't want to say.

I think someone needs to take Leekeworld gently by the hand though and explain 'if you spread this out over 4-5 months, people can buy more of them over time', LOL! Although now I fear they may plan more of these things....

I'm finding this all very difficult indeed!!!!

I really really need to know about the ears for one.
Have you asked them more flat out? If not I might go and do just that!
I don't need pictures, I just need to know if they're human or fantasy ears!

Plus arrrghhh I want Sleeping Honey with everything she has right now, but her back art replaced with Elf Sweet's back art, and Elf Sweet's stomach art added to her too.
I still want all the strong joint blushing and leg art that Sleeping Honey has on top of it xD
Yes that would be an insane amount of blushing and art on one doll, but I'm just insane like that! ^_^;;

Of course that's all impossible.. so all I can do is sit and cry over them xD
It's like heidipay says, if they released one of these little fairies every month, then crazy people like me would probably end up bringing all of them home, or at least 2 or 3!
Either that or they could have released the 2 Sweets together, then the 2 Honey's together.
Releasing them all at once, especially with no layaway, makes it really hard for people to choose!

 

I hadn't asked specifically just whether or not they were pointed, I know how vital this is for you!

Well, we have what we have for the girls now, the question is, are you going to go with the Leekeworld blushing, or do you think you can get the one you want the most custom-done, like Chehime was thinking? I hope to order early in February and I'm so excited, but if I could've gotten them all over time, I'd be thoroughly thrilled, LOL! ^ ^

If I get one, she'll definitely have blushing without a doubt!!!
I think I'm already sold on Sleeping Honey.. I mean, I ADORE the sparklies, I REALLY REALLY DO.. but when it comes down to the sculpt and the colour, I just prefer Sleeping Honey 100%.
At the worst, I could get someone to add sparklies to her at a later time or something.

I just have too many fairies/elves, and too many coloured resin dolls that when I really think about it, I should be going for something that's really unique for my collection. To me, a sleeping head is really unique as I pretty much never use them, and even if I do, they're always slightly open eyes rather than TOTALLY closed.

Guess I need to mail Leekeworld and ask about the ears!

I'm thinking I'm going to use them as a bribe to myself xD
If I get through the next couple of weeks sticking to my diet and exercise, not losing my mind over work etc etc, then I can get her.. that kind of thing! ^_^;;

 

In the one photo where elf sweet is hugging the owl you can see the ears are elf type as the one sticks out from the wig. Looks like they are different from the cute ears perhaps, though it could just be the angle.

I am so tempted with them all. For the first time open eyed Sweet isn't calling as hard as both sleeping gals. Needs to win lotto like other members have suggested LOL!

 

Doesn't look like it would be possible to swap the designs which is a bit of shame really. Doubt I will find the money but you never know, might find one in the MP after the sale is anybody has regrets.

 

That's what I think too. It looks like pointy ears but I wish they'd put pics up! I mean I don't know why they won't.

 

Argh, I asked, but they said no pics, and they didn't even respond to me 'can we switch the designs' question, eek! They are sooo adorable, it's killing me a little, aaaaah, but I will have to make my decision in the next week.

But I'm already in debt right now and so I need to be lucky enough for some of my auctions to sell for me to be able to go for her.
It's REALLY REALLY HATE to pass on her.

URGH it's nearly the 20th and I'm still so totally torn with these little ones!
I was so hoping I'd manage to sell something in time so I could bring one home, but no such luck (or rather I did, but it went towards paying off my Soom Taco.. and now there's Soon Nelen to worry about too).
Plus the no layaway thing would mean STARVING FOR A MONTH!

I think I'm sold on which one I want though.. even though its hard to say no to the sparklies!!!!!

Why not order through Denver Doll? They offer a four month layaway.

 

Sadly that's not an option for me! T_T
I'm in Japan, and so the shipping cost would be so much more from Denver Doll over going through Leekeworld, and I have no access to paypal (no credit card, so I have to be lucky enough to have funds in there from sales) whereas Leekeworld conveniently have a bank account within Japan so I can transfer the money easily without ridiculously fees.

So yes, it's now or never!!!

I'm pondering finding some doll friendly glue, buying some deco goodies and doing up my Soom Taco (totally blank, which is rare for me) in a style similar to the leeke sparklies!
That way I won't feel like I'm missing out on a BLING DOLL, and can just focus on trying to get the sculpt I prefer xD

Well, I did try and forget all about these little lovelies in hopes of saving my bank but to no avail. What makes it worse it that there is so little ordering time left and my payday isn't until the end of the month, however, I'm certain I could swindle the first layaway payment (I'm assuming they sare offering layaway). The only problem I have it whether I order Elf Sweet or Honey. Elf Honey has such an adorable face but Elf Sweet has that cute little smile and all them sparkles! I'm not a sparkle fan but they seem to be calling to me this time lol.

I also find it ... not so much a shame really, more sad ... that Elf Honey and Sleeping Sweet have drawn the short stick with the blushing and whatnot. Elf Sweet is the sparkle princess and Sleeping Honey has all those wonderful leg marking. Hmm... saying that ... if I had a spare $2000, I wouldn't hesitate to get them all lol.

 

I layaway-ed my Mint when I got her they are super nice to deal with... I just didn't want to mention it in case you guys knew something I didn't. You know, like maybe they don't offer layaway on limiteds or something.

Speaking of my Mint - my faceup artist is done with her head so now I'm just waiting to get her back which will hopefully be next week and I can start spamming up the thread again

I can't agree more on the 'short stick' department, I do think they super-sparkled Elf Sweet because she's GS, but people, I collect GS already...and I would've bought Sleeping Honey regardless, her face is just killing me, honestly, I adore her completely. But I love Elf Honey also (Honey is well-named, aw!), and Sleeping Sweet is highly favored by my sissy...and there's absolutely no way we can justify all four of them, even on layaway, snort! ^ ^ So it's coming down to the wire, I believe I will buy one in full and then put at least one on layaway...my dream was to recreate, in a photoshoot, the lovely four girls scene around halfway down the page, but I suspect I will have to get another doll or two to substitute!

Ok someone bid on one of my auctions with a possible buying another if she can pull together the money in time.
I'm giving her a discount for both of them which would give me the EXACT amount I need for a fairy!!!
Even if she only gets the one item, I still have enough for half a fairy!

Arghhh now I have to decide whether to go for it and just HOPE she'll get the other item too!

Anyway, back on the actual fairies, I have complaints about all of them! ^_^;;
Elf Honey is just SO boringly painted up compared to the others, even though she's my favourite of the open eye sculpts.
The sleeping heads get the better colours by far.
Elf Sweet has the sparklies that none of the others have (depressingly), but her body blushing under that is not nearly strong enough (I'd prefer the really strong blushing on the joints PLUS the sparklies).
Sleeping Honey has the most fabulous blushing, but is seriously lacking in sparklies.
ETC ETC ETC! xD

I think the main issue is that they released them ALL AT ONCE.
For one, this means we can all generally only afford one, but also we can actually compare them all and thus work out the tiny elements we like about each of them.
It's only natural that we're all coming up with our IDEAL by combining elements of all of them xD

heidipay, I totally agree about Elf Sweet and her GS!
I have enough GS already... but the SPARKLIES! And I really love her faceup.

As I have a blank Soom Taco (snow blue skin) coming in, my thought is to do her up with strong blushing and lots of sparklies in star patterns to sort of get the Elf Sweet vibe with a different doll I already have coming through.
Plus Elf Sweet DOES look a lot like Bambicrony's Elf Shy (who I have in purple already).
THEN get Sleeping Honey out of this lot, as she's definitely the most unique compared to the rest of my collection, and it's rare for me to love a closed eye head so much!

OH OH OH EXCITEMENT!
Auction luck.. the same person decided she wanted another item I had up (a different outfit set), bid on that then requested I cancel her bid on the original auction... and then bid on AN ENTIRE DOLL.
So assuming she doesn't cancel again and change her mind, I should have almost DOUBLE the cost of a Leekeworld fairy coming in over the next couple of days!!!

Now I am kind of broke and I know I should probably just save this money but.. but.. but.. xD

Well, I caved and ordered Elf Sweet with everything. Though I will admit that I am a little nervous because I've never had any fantasy coloured dolls before ... so unsure what to expect lol. At least it has cheered me up after I decided that Nelen isn't for me

I'm also wondering if I beg them really hard they may let me choose a second wig instead of it being random because I LOVE that second wig that Elf Honey is wearing
