I finally got my little entaur and my daughter's today. She's so cute. I'll have to wait to give her a face-up though as it's completely wet here (I think there's been 80mm today) and it doesn't look like it will let up for the next week.
I got a Happy face and my daughter got a Cutie. I hadn't thought of what I was going to do with her face-up but the more I think of it the more she looks dreamy to me. I'll have to play with her face-up when it stops raining
Aww~ I'm super jealous whitewolf!! Did you get the clear or white bodies? I'd love to see more owner-photos of these little cuties! I'm sad I missed out on them, but at the same time I've got so much painting for dolls I have already, and it's either too wet or too humid to even try...
I got the clear bodies. Yeah this wet weather really is starting to be a problem. I've got my studio all organised and I'm itching to get some faceups done. The dam is full, both rain water tanks are full, all the plants are wet - I think it can stop for a few days now
I hope everybody gets some good weather for painting soon! It's been dry enough here, just too darned cold. >_< Last time I tried spraying MSC at these temperatures, it did not end well. But I just made my final layaway payment for my two little Entaurs! Fortunately for me, they're coming with blushing (fantasy parts only) and face-ups, so I won't have to worry about painting on them. XD (Definitely have enough other blank dolls waiting in the wings...) I would love to see some Entaur spam if anybody gets the chance, to tide me over while I wait for my own girls to come home. ^^
I feel like I should work on some outfits for my girls, so they can have something to wear once they get home. (Although that's a bit ambitious, considering my poor v1 Ents still have yet to get a wardrobe. >>; ) Also, unrelated....hocrap, they've posted teasers for Croom and...a Fox Warrior? This is such bad news. xD I just promised myself I wouldn't be adding any more new dolls to my purchase/wish list until I got all my current layaways paid.
I will die! Croom was bad enough...Fox warrior, sob! So bad for my wallet...but I'm a week away from my last Ent payment, I think I won't be able to wait until the end of the month, LOLOL! We'll see, but I'd love to get her home soon. I will be honest, I have little intention to clothe either V1 Ent or my Entaur, and my Soom Smokey is also unclothed. They are lovely and natural, so at this point wheee! .hlp
I didn't see the Croom teaser! AH! I've been putting off buying any dolls until he was released. I hope he's amazing after this long wait. ETA: Just checked the site, aw man! I love that "Manliness" is a key point with Croom. Fox Warrior in on the same body as the little Ents. If they make cool pieces for it like the metal arm that's sketched out, I hope they can be bought seperately.
Eeeeee, my girls arrived today and holy cow are they amazing. *-* Unwrapping them, I felt like a kid on Christmas. The Ent-parts blushing is just goooooorgeous. They're all sparky and shimmery and words just fail me. I had to rush through the box opening a bit, as my sister is on the way to visit, so I haven't had a chance to put their eyes in or anything, but I am already so thrilled. The Lovely-B skin really threw me for a loop. It isn't at all what I was expecting. I got my first view of it when I opened a little bag of feet and for a moment I was worried I'd been sent a Pure Rose girl by accident. But on closer inspection, it's really not like Pure Rose at all. I was expecting a frosty whitish-blue colour, but I'd describe it more as a soft violet-grey. It looks a lot like I always thought Pure Rose looked on Leeke's website -- though, in person, Pure Rose ended up being less grey and more pale tan. Either way, it is absolutely gorgeous and after I got over the surprise, I fell completely in love with the colour. The Fairy Green is also wonderful and looks exactly as I expected it.
Hahah, sorry I took my sweet time. XD I hate resizing images... It's why I post so few box openings, even though I photograph them all. But I got them up! Now I just need to get them out a bit more when the lighting isn't awful, as most of my photographs ended up being terrible. >_<
This thread has been silent for awhile, and I was wondering if anyone here had any more pictures of their little Entaurs! I just put a $200 downpayment on mine through the DoA market!
I still have my girl but I haven't done much with her so.... >_> For the summer of dolls... I did... NOTHING.

Hahah. XD Seriously, I wish Leeke would do another pick-your-head release. It was always so fun seeing which heads people chose, and how completely different the results were. Also, I am totally in love with how perpetually confused my girl looks. She's the most adorable, innocent-looking thing in my collection. ;.; (And since it's hopefully OK to do another pic-spam since this is a new post, here's her companion, Iphigenia, whose eyes were so close to perfect before I knocked them out of place by adding more putty. *facepalm* Then I gave up.)
