Leekeworld [Limited Edition] Juwel and Croom Ent discussion

Well, I'm surprised, but I'm kinda waffling as well. I like her, and I suppose the price is reasonable when she comes with the two heads - Human and Ent head. I'm thinking of getting her, but I won't be ordering the fantasy parts. I'm not that keen on them. Personally, I just like the human version and with the body, she's interesting enough on her own. I'll see if I can get enough for a deposit. As it seems like not a lot of people are getting her, I doubt if I'll be able to pick up a head on the secondhand market. I'm still thinking about it though. I guess there's free shipping as well which is nice.

 

The more I look at her, the more I really really like her. I really don't think she's all that shockingly expensive when you consider that she's an SD sized LE Korean doll -- she just has a lot of options and those add up really fast if you want everything with her. I would just like to have her as a human, since she would fit in better with my other SD sized dolls that way. However, I'm just not able to swing the funds. Paying off two dolls at once just isn't very likely to happen right now. Maybe something flukey will happen and I'll be able to come up with the cash by June 30th, but I'm very dubious.

 

At first I really didnt like this doll, but she is growing on me. Maybe we arent giving leeke enough credit for thinking outside the box here.

I think most of the idiosyncrasies of her body and joints have to do with how the fantasy parts have to attach.
That gap on her shoulder joint may provide better mobility with her shoulder armor on. Same deal with the massive space in between her thighs. It also looks like her hip joints stick out a little and lock in front to support her panty thing.

Also, I really like the 'natural' way her breasts fall away from each other instead of being all mashed up front and center like most dolls
and that pink faceup--love!

 

I do love her natural breasts also. Those and her hips are what are so darn tempting... ack haha

 

I really like her. She's perfect for my elf style doll... I might try and get some money up to have her, lol.

Zarkadi, you did an amazing job! I LOVE your take on Juwel!!! I have to admit that if Leeke released something similar to your drawing as their concept art, I wouldn't have been as disappointed with the doll. A lot of my disappointment stems from expecting something resembling their art and building the doll up in my head to look like what was presented in the concept art.

 

I agree! That art is gorgeousssssssssssss!!!!!!!!

 

So has anyone decided to buy her? I think I'll be waiting until the very last minute to decide. I keep mentally going 'no way' but then finding reasons to look at her.

Well, I'm just saying, if I had a job and an affinity for SD's... I'd buy her ;__; She feels like something else. I feel like a movie-caster going "Hey, I can make something outta you!" xD

 

I have literally left her up on the Leeke site with specific options selected, so I can tell I am thinking about this. I just need a couple of things in my life to be more settled before I work out what I'm doing, argh, plus I may be extremely ambitious about what I'm thinking about, the Uncanny Dreams glow may be wearing off, hah!

I don't like her at all. I wish the ent parts were more like wood x-x' and i don't like her eyes much its kinda weird. but whatever.
i have to say the body looks awesome but thats all i liked sadly.
I hope leekworld try out more fantasy dolls.

 

I love the drawings that they did for Juwel on Leeke, but wow, that's great art, too, Zarkadi!
I don't think I'll get her... I'll just admire her.

 

Just. WOW. There's just something that I just think is so beautiful about Juwel. I wouldn't say that I think she's perfect or MOST beautiful, but I love the shape of the curvy figure (Plus the fact that she's a larger size doll...Yay!!) Also her hands are so veeery pretty to me 3 Her little 'Panty Outfit' is cute too XD buuuut --I don't think I'd ever buy her though ( 'cause it's a girl : P ) I wonder how Croom is going to look like : D haha, sooo exciting!!

 

Oh yes, it makes me very excited for Croom. My husband is most eager to see him because based on the drawing he REALLY wants him. I hope it doesn't turn out to be nothing like the drawing again.

 

I guess I'm now trying to picture a boyish Croom because Juwel really looks girlish to me. My problem is that if I order Juwel and then really like Croom, I'm probably not going to be able to get both...... Sigh. On the other hand, if Croom gets released and like almost every Centaur on the market, he looks out of proportion, then I'm not going to want to buy him and I'll probably regret not getting Juwel....... It's hard to decide. If Juwel is over $1000 for all the bits and pieces, then Croom could well be $2000 for the fullset which is more than I'm interested in paying. I'm almost hoping that I don't like him.

 

Yeah I told my husband that Croom would probably be $1k+... I guess I was VERY wrong x-x

 

I was thinking about that much but if he's closer to $2000, he's going to be too expensive. He would have to be EXACTLY like the picture for me to consider it. I think that's why I'm looking at Juwel. I like the outfit she's wearing. I'm also thinking of asking Leeke whether they would consider making her in pure rose so she'd match my Mikhaila.

 

Pure rose is already an option, you don't have to ask!
