Just caved. Ordered RoseSkin Soda (Asking for Tan! She'll be my first tan dolly!) Blank, plus a few extra goodies. x3 Off to go look at pictures of trees for inspiration now. o_o
Hmm... I think I'm actually really liking the idea of making her into a flame demon instead of an ent. Ha ha, turning a tree into a fire. :P Still not sold on the idea, though, so we'll see what happens. I'd love to have a tiny who can look good in curvier outfits, though. Does Leekeworld ever close their order periods early? I know Soom sometimes does and I wasn't going to order until closer to the end of the order period.

Oh, I am so terribly smitten with Sweet and Soda. In an ideal world I'd get Soda in PureRose as a little cherry blossom tree spirit, and Sweet in Snow Skin as a lemon tree spirit... But getting just one would be miraculous, let alone two!
I was toying with the idea of making mine a palo verde tree, but A) not a lot of people know what those are and B) I LOVE the Aurora blushing. And I had hopes someone would make a cherry tree spirit! Hurray! Half the fun with these kinds of releases is hanging out on DoA to see what everyone else is doing. 40% would be commiserating on DoA. XD The last 10% is stalking the mailman~.
I just looked up palo verde. They have really pretty, bright leaves, and it's neat that such a big beautiful plant is a desert dweller. I learned about something new and cool today! :3 I was thinking of a wild rose. The leafy wings look pretty dead on to rose bush that used to grow outside our front door. It was a damn resilient and monster in size, but Mom made it go (after 7 years of cutting it down to the roots) since kids and dogs running out the front door so close to a thorny plant was just a disaster waiting to happen. It had the most lovely red wine colored blossoms and a lovely scent, though, so I was always happy to see it keep coming back every spring as a kid. I'm going to have to do custom blushing for my girl with dark green wings and attempt a green and brown gradient in the wood horns and feet. I'm also going to hunt for a wine red wig to match the color I remember that bush sported. (It sucks the wine red is one of the few colors that's randomly seasonal for Leeke!) I'm going to ask if Leeke will pack her with the eyes Honey is shown with.
Ah! I just found these little ones and I am having a fit! >_< I really, really, love Kiel... I see that it says the ordering perios lasts til May 22, so maybe I can get money by then, but I am not sure... Does Leeke World do layaway? I have never ordered from them and I really don't know a lot about them. Maybe if they have a good layaway program I can get one!
Haha, those percentages are so true! And palo verde trees are beautiful. I might have to figure SOMETHING out to get at least one of these girls... if I do the blushing myself it'll be more likely to happen. Bah, I'll make SOMETHING work. And that sounds lovely, Ellanie! Yeah, so I've decided I can't pass on this one, I don't have the willpowerThese guys are just too cute. I really like Soda but I think at the end of the day it'll have to be Honey. The million options are really throwing me for a loop though. I love the default Honey parts blushing, but I really want the base of the wing in green rather than yellow for a sakura effect. So now I'm struggling with whether or not to get the default blushing for now cuz I love it and erase it later to do my own thing, or if I want to just order the parts blank. For the first time tho I'm pretty sure I'll go for the faceup. I always do faceups myself but this one is so sweet! Usually doing the faceup is an important part of the bonding for me, but if I can do the body and parts blushing perhaps that will suffice. Also considering tan, but I want to get my tan Mikhaila and see her in real life before I decide. The snow skin in the pics is lovely, and I don't have a ws doll yet.
Oh I just thought of something that could be a problem for me. Does anyone else think Kiel's faceup looks very green in those pictures? I was planning on ordering her with all pink blushing, but that could be a tad weird of she shows up, her body is pink and her head is green xD Maybe I should ask Leeke about this.
Rivon - I think if you order her with pink blushing Leeke will not give her a green face-up. Maybe the face-up will be like Honey's.
Yeah that's what I'm hoping, I'll ask just to be sure though ^^ I really like Kiel's faceup, just not the green. Edit: Ok I wrote on the Q&A board, but my question doesn't seem to be showing up, I'm thinking maybe I did something wrong? I've never used their Q&A board before.
For me their Q&A doesn't seem to work on the weekend. I think you have to wait and post your question on a weekday when they're actually open for business. Guess they don't want to get in on Monday with a ton of backed up questions
