Leekeworld [Limited Edition] Kiel Ent discussion

I could read 'world' and 'tragedy' so I thought maybe the ents had a sad backstory. Like the tragedy is that their forest is scheduled to be cut down or is dying of some natural/magical disaster, and they've got to decide to fight or find new homes. It would make sense if they're slightly LOTR inspired.

You know, I hadn't given the text much more than a passing glance, but now I'm really curious.

The first line looks like, "What makes this world this tragedy," but I'm not having much luck reading the rest of it, even with tweaking the sharpness and contrast of the image. I can pick out random words, but not enough to make any sense of it. Tried Googling bits of phrases, but I haven't had any luck with turning up an existing text. D: Now this is going to bother me.

 

Okay, so I tried to read the text (which looks like the same text on all the pictures, just formatted differently), and below is what I could make out. Anywhere there are dashes are where I couldn't make out the words in question. If anyone else can make out anything more, or if I didn't get a word right, feel free to update this

I'm so excited! I just ordered Soda, in pure rose, with faceup but no blushing. I got the twig horns. I can hardly wait! I've wanted a tiny with a more mature body, and I love fairies and elves, so she'll fit right in with the rest of my doll family.

 

mine will be fae, and not the Disney kind more the kind that are in the dark urban fantasy books you see these days.The kind of fae you never say thank you too and never ask a favor of, and the kind of fae that you hope are in a good mood when you see them, they are not evil just not human..
and they have fun helping you on a good day, but if they lead you the way to a swamp and you drown they cry a bit and when the next traveler comes trough they just go on with their game, lol
i wanted to do the body blushing myself, but the idea with the body art sounds nice too.
the will have not much to wear and like to show of their bodies and wear little bikini tops and little skirts and shear clothing and such..i would like to make some leather things as well, but i couldn't find good leather yet, so i found some nice colored jerey and some nice colored cotton for now..

i really hope the ship soon..

i asked leeke before if the could give me extra fantasy parts and they told me they couldn't so i was really sad about that as i wanted the blushing from them but also the opportunity to try something myself on the parts..

does anyone know if they would swap the head for a d -one? i like the tiny head (i have already an soda ent and an honey ent on order)

 

it is a weird story, not what i expected
i think mine shall be a Mute tree spirit. the way she act shall seem kind of wild and untamed. and she will have a serious personality.
i dont know if i will keep her this way. i have a hard time finding personalities for my dolls

 

mine will be a happy-go-lucky little fairy thing (maybe with some "fae" traits as lamira described, one of my favourite books has such faes in it) to contrast my rather serious little demon boy (LM Becky). She'll be annoying him with her constant happiness and teasing him about being smaller than her (and he hates to be so small). C:

 

Anyone know if it possible to get a Leeke order with different username and paypal?? I mean one person order and another person pay for the order by paypal.

 

I think as long as you put the order number in when you pay so they can link it to your order, maybe also post on the message board with the order #, your name/email, name/email that paid, and paypal transaction ID? Try message board posting/emailing to ask, they answer super-fast!

 

I'm pretty sure somebody asked about getting a different head and Leeke said no to that request as well. It would probably be your best bet to just buy the Tiny head separately and switch them out yourself, though it looks like she only comes in Basic, not Snow skin at this time, so you could be stuck getting another Ent for the body.

 

I have asked Leeke and they suggested to buy a separate head and another Ent and switch them. A little more costly ;-)

 

I love reading about what everyone has planned for their ents. It's always interesting to me how the same dolls can end up so vastly different.

My girl's story will draw on the Norns (The Norse equivalent of the Fates). Unlike the Fates, though, there are many Norns aside from the three that are well known. Norns travel the countryside visiting newborns and setting their future and the length of their life. My girl will be an Oak spirit, traveling with my Glot, Nova. I'm not sure of the relationship the two have, or whether she's the Norn responsible for his fate (in which case it would be weird for her to be following him around), or if he's a companion to her as she goes around to give out people's fates. I intend for her to be rather curious and mischeivous, and over-all one of the benevolent Norns. I haven't decided entirely on what her outfit will look like, other that it will be greens and browns. I've been sketching out a few costume concepts, but I don't think I've nailed what I want just yet. I'm going to have Sims do her faceup and parts brushing in greens and browns as well, possibly with some shimmer powders to make them more iridescent/ethereal looking.

I'm so excited for all of the ents to start coming in!

 

I'm thinking of basing my girl off the Finnish Goddess of forests, Mielikki. (I think the name is adorable!)
She's going to get some tribal markings and some scantily clad foresty dresses (maybe a fur pelt and a hunting horn too!)
But I really like the idea of making her four dresses to change with the seasons.
