Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Nonaly, my girl Solveig is a tree spirit (Either Ash or Birch, I'm not sure which. I'm trying to figure out which suits her better :sweat), who is also one of the Viking Norns - beings who wander the countryside visiting newborns and setting their future and the length of their life.

    3. I'm having lots of fun reading about everyone's great plans, stories and characters! Makes me feel welcome here in this thread! Anyway, today was a really gloomy and dark day (and still is, its afternoon here) so I didn't have much light to work with. What I did was run around the apartment / flat (*hehe*) and search for the best spots, turning all the lights on... in the middle of the day, just so I could take my photos ^^ I'm just not ready yet to take my BJDs out in public...

      So, here is my Jade (her name will change depending on what she wears what kind of story she's in and so on) with a new wig... LTF Lunas default wig. As always, drop by my flickr to see more, if you feel like it.

    4. nonaly - Oh, that wig really suits her! And the soft lighting actually works in her favour. :3 She looks so sweet and almost angelic! <3

      Hahah, and I feel you on the issue of taking dolls out in public. ^^; There are so many places I'd like to take them for photographs, but I'm far too self conscious! I've only taken one of my dolls out, but we walked so far down a hiking trail until there was no one around before I took her out of the bag. XD

    6. Mmmmhh, yes, the very first time I tried it, it only took me a few seconds. Afterwards I needed longer, like a whole 2 minutes, just so she wouldn't fall. Say, do you also have these... white circles under her ent feet? On her sole, I mean, what are these?

    8. Okay, I've restrung Björk (gonna give her a body blush soon) and it was easier than I thought. You just have to dig up those little plates beneath her ent-legs and it's cake afterwards. Perhaps I was lucky?

      Giving her a faceup was hard though *_* She doesn't have as many facial features to go with as my MSD xP But it's done, aswell as the fantasy parts :) And if I don't hate it that much the next time I see it, I'll probably post some pictures here on monday or tuesday ^_^

    9. I'm looking forward to your pictures, Zarkadi! Either not many Ents have arrived yet, or people don't photograph them.... sadly, its really quiet here. Its fun I got mine this quickly, because I ordered her one day AFTER the ordering period ended. It still worked, though ^^

      I still didn't restring mine (I'm too scared!), but do I really need to just pull out those white plates at her ent feet? If its really as easy as it sounds, I might try it soon.

    10. I didn't know there was an Ent thread! :D

      I finished paying for my Ent (it's a birthday present for myself). I'm in no rush to receive my new girl, but I am SO excited! :dance I told Leeke to take their time and made a few requests like to ensure the seams are subtle, the painting is precise and to ship my girl with her human legs, so I'm not expecting her anytime soon. When she does arrive I will take some photos for this thread. ;)

      My girl is a forest nymph who is best friends with a centaur (WS Aloa by Soom who is also not here yet and a project for 2012!). She loves to climb trees and can see in the dark. Actually, she is a little "bug-like" and has some characteristics of insects. Her name is Ayla Fae and she lives in the Fae forest with the centaur Amarante Fae (a girl centaur) and a fairy named Aaerynn Fae (Soom fairy Rose). All the Fae creatures have WS and I'm sure the Fae forest family will continue to grow for years to come. :aheartbea

      So, my imagination keeps running on overdrive as I await my girl's arrival - a WS Soda Ent complete set with the pink set of wings... Not sure yet if she will use her feet or head parts, but I will decide when she gets home.

    11. With mine, you kinda had three options if you wanted the ent legs off: either undo the knot in her head (I did this with pliers), cut the elastic, or pull the white plugs out and use a pliers to bend the eyelet until the elastic can be pulled out. The way mine came, you couldn't get the elastic out of the white plug without modding the metal eyehook.

      I suspect they're aware of this, since they sent extra elastic. (Unless this is just something Leeke does. I've not seen it from a company before.)

    12. elphsnt, your girl will be great, I'm sure! Her Story sounds a bit like mine, My Soda (a WS with Pink Parts too :lol:) is a Nymph as well and she can see in the dark too ^^ Please don't think I stole your idea, its just her huge blue eyes that made me think of that. She will be my Water-Light Fairy or something similar. Please post pics as soon as she comes!

    13. I never uploaded a faceup pic for my Kiel! I *always* take a picture like this whenever a doll comes through so I get a beautiful view of the faceup.. who knows why I forgot to upload this time!
